      POSITION SUMMARY:

       

      The Director of Global Merchandising – Outlet is responsible for shaping the product vision and driving growth across the global Outlet channel. This role ensures the assortment reflects the brand’s core values while being optimized for the Outlet consumer, prioritizing margin, productivity, and strategic differentiation from full-price. The Director partners cross-functionally to build a compelling, high-performing line plan that upholds brand integrity, avoids dilution, and meets the unique needs of each region. This leader guides seasonal strategies, protects profitability, and ensures the product offering resonates with the global customer.

       

      PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

      • Establish the Outlet product vision and develop the global merchandising line plan, ensuring assortments uphold brand identity while maximizing margin and productivity.

       

      • Drive both short- and long-range merchandising strategies for the Outlet channel, ensuring the product line remains differentiated from full-price while maintaining brand integrity and a strong, channel-appropriate value proposition.

       

      • Champion customer centricity, incorporating consumer insights, shopping behaviors, and emerging lifestyle trends into product and assortment decisions.

       

      • Partner with regional merchandisers and serve as the key product expert, aligning region-specific line plans, sharing product knowledge, and ensuring global strategies are executed consistently while meeting local needs.

       

      • Lead adherence to the global merchandising calendar, ensuring key deliverables and cross-functional milestones are met on time.

      • Bring customer and market perspectives into design and product development, ensuring assortments reflect current and emerging trends.

       

      • Provide clear direction to design, PD, and technical teams to successfully execute merchandising strategies, align on product narratives, and manage seasonal changes.

       

      • Collaborate with design on seasonal messaging, ensuring cohesive storytelling, consistent product intent, and alignment to the brand vision across all categories.

       

      • Partner with sourcing to manage product development, review protos, track samples, and achieve pricing targets that drive profitability for the Outlet channel.

       

      • Work closely with marketing and packaging teams to develop customer-relevant messaging, packaging, and storytelling for the global market.

       

      • Provide strong leadership, fostering cross-functional alignment, influencing decision-making, and developing merchandising capabilities across global teams.

       

      QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

       

      Experience: At least 8-10 years of merchandising experience

               

      Education: Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising or equivalent

       

      Skills:            

       

      • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, influence cross-functional partners, and drive execution.

      • Strong product sensibility with experience building profitable assortments and partnering with Design on customer-right concepts.

      • Analytical and financial acumen with the ability to interpret data and drive margin-focused decisions.

      • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to align and influence global and regional teams.

      • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, able to manage complexity and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

      • Collaborative leader who fosters partnership, accountability, and a customer-first mindset.

      SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

       

      Direct: Assistant Merchandiser, Associate Merchandiser

      Pay Range:$143,200---$193,300

      PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.       Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible. This role is equity eligible.
