The Team
Within the EMEA Communications department, our mission is to deliver clear, engaging, and aligned communications that connect people to PVH's vision, values, and priorities, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching goals of building Calvin Klein and TOMMY HILFIGER into the most desirable lifestyle brands in the world. This team serves as the backbone of our department, collaborating closely with local markets, global communications, HR, and brand teams to drive a cohesive and integrated approach across the region. By eliminating regional silos and aligning local efforts with EMEA and global priorities, we enhance Associate experiences, foster a sense of community, and strengthen the company's internal and external presence. With an integral position in the team, the role contributes significantly to streamlining content creation, event planning, and messaging, ensuring a balance between regionally consistent narratives and locally relevant engagement.
The Position
As the Manager, Copywriting, PVH EMEA you will be the tone of voice guardian and messaging authority for all communications materials in the region. You will be responsible for creating clear, impactful messaging for stakeholders, across various platforms, and delivering powerful copy with a clear strategic vision. The role is expected to engage audiences through compelling narratives that elevate the organization’s image. You will collaborate closely with the PVH EMEA Communications team to develop strategic materials that effectively communicate the organization’s initiatives for both internal, external and executive communication. Working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, this role requires a dedication to effective messaging and outstanding grammar and experience as a cross-divisional partner.
Key Responsibilities:
Guardian of Editorial and Copy: Establish and uphold copy style guidelines to ensure a consistent, compelling tone of voice that aligns with PVH’s brand identity while adapting to specific audience needs. Provide line editing and proofreading for all assets to maintain high standards of clarity, grammar, and tone.
Strategic Content Development: Translate strategic direction and sometimes ambiguous inputs into clear, impactful copy. Lead copy development for a wide range of formats, including press materials (press releases, messaging, kits), senior executive communications (talking points, scripts, statements, Q&As), crisis statements, internal announcements, social media posts (e.g., LinkedIn), process documents (templates, toolkits), and ad-hoc copy requests from the PVH EMEA Communications team.
Internal Campaigns: Support the local activation of communications initiatives across both Hubs, aligned to the annual EMEA communications calendar (e.g., IWD, Pride, seasonal campaigns). Develop and execute audience-specific, engaging campaigns and activations that build company culture and reflect leadership messaging.
Executive Support: Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute high-impact internal communication strategies. Share views and recommendations with senior leadership to guide challenging communications decisions.
Project and Workflow Management: Manage complex approval routing, project workflows, and stakeholder communications across a matrixed organization, from briefing through to final approvals. Effectively manage copy briefs under tight deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of strategic, high-quality content.
Copy Operations: Develop and maintain briefing templates, copywriting processes, and approval systems to ensure operational efficiency. Maintain systems and copy archives, including a searchable database of current and final copy, cleared names, descriptions, and messaging for reuse.
Crisis and Change Communications: Support the execution of sensitive and timely communications during business changes, restructures, or crises in close partnership with the wider Communications and HR teams.
Content Amplification: Leverage EMEA templates and global content to localize and amplify cmmunications on the Insider Plus platform in collaboration with HR and Hub teams, ensuring messages are relevant and resonant.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for regional communications needs. Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners across EMEA markets, global teams, and brand stakeholders to ensure consistent narratives and coordinated execution.
Performance Insights: Track and analyze communication performance metrics such as sentiment, reach, and engagement. Distill complex data and insights into executive-ready materials and recommendations to optimize communications strategies.

The Ideal Candidate
7-10 years of communications and writing experience, particularly within large retail organizations in the EMEA region.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with flawless grammar and a strong eye for detail. Creative flair combined with a passion for storytelling and brand voice.
Strong business acumen (experience in retail, apparel and/or consumer industries a plus) with proven ability to connect business goals and objectives with communications strategies for maximum impact.
Extensive experience developing executive and internal communications, including narratives, talking points, announcements, and campaign content.
Ability to analyze and synthesize large volumes of information and feedback into clear, actionable messaging.
Effective stakeholder management across all levels, including experience representing the voice of senior leaders and guiding sensitive or high-pressure communications.
Demonstrated success working in highly matrixed, cross-functional environments, with strong relationship-building skills.
Excellent project and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Proactive, self-starter mindset with a go-getter attitude; confident conducting research, interviews, and driving projects forward independently.
Ability to quickly grasp copy briefs and adapt messaging style to different audiences and platforms.
Data-driven mindset, with a deep understanding of earned media, social media and media measurement.
Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel), Apple Keynote, and Workfront skills preferred.
Willingness to work across different time zones to ensure strong alignment and seamless execution.
Native-level proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required with an in-depth understanding of the differences between American and British English.
