The Team

The Tommy Hilfiger Global Consumer Engagement group brings the brand’s campaigns, activations and products to life for consumers across all marketing and commercial touch points. With relentless focus and consistency, the team executes high impact brand and product storytelling that builds desirability and relevance with consumers.

The Global Consumer Engagement leadership team is comprised of a group of highly experienced marketing channel leaders who set the global agenda and playbooks for Media; Communications; Entertainment & Talent; Social Media; Events; Retail, Wholesale & Digital Marketing; and Sponsorships.

Together this team has the power to reach, inspire, entertain, educate and cultivate a sense of belonging for consumers globally – and it is the leadership team’s role to ensure that this is done with clockwork alignment, agile budget management, deep partnership with the regions, and strong empowerment for each team to run a fit for channel strategy.

The Global Consumer Engagement group is ultimately responsible for executing an integrated marketing plan that builds brand equity and delivers on business targets. The mission is to shape the unique and meaningful consumer-facing experiences that cut through to target audiences and make Tommy Hilfiger’s collections the most desirable in the market.

The Global Events team owns development and execution of all global activation touch-points both for internal associates, key business stakeholder, and consumer & industry focused public activations.

The Position:

This role will support the creation, planning, and flawless execution of special events and guest enhancing experiences across the brand’s two independent, but related product/content pillars: Hilfiger + Tommy Jeans.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Alignment

  • Develop, manage, with frequency the Global Consumer Engagement pipeline working cross functionally to maintain accuracy.

  • Ownership, management and comprehensive development of seasonal consumer activation guidelines / toolkits unifying all consumer facing events, regardless department or regional ownership.

  • Central PM for infrastructure design and deployment across Consumer Engagement group and beyond.

Program Development and Strategy

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive global events program for each season to provide brand content, talent exposure, press coverage, and commercial traffic.

  • Oversee the full project lifecycle of the Global Events program, from initial vision through to completion and post-event recap.

  • Innovate and disseminate guidelines that embody the brand's messaging, with particular emphasis on sustainability and Inclusion & Diversity (I&D).

Event Production and Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with a network of partners, including creative and brand marketing, event and creative agencies, and talent-related services.

  • Create comprehensive event production briefings and maintain organized production and meeting assets.

  • Provide essential on-site support and participate in travel as needed for the Global Experiences team’s activities.

  • Perform continuous research on experiential events and maintain a record of case studies and relevant data.

Measurement and Budget Oversight

  • Develop regular status reports detailing project milestones and budget tracking.

  • Maintain seasonal budget documents to monitor and manage program spend accurately.

  • Process internal invoices in collaboration with accounts payable departments and contribute to annual budget development.

  • Establish clear objectives and KPIs for event success measurement.

Administrative and Operational Support

  • Support management of the collaborative events calendar, including meeting coordination, agenda creation, and recap documentation.

  • Establish and maintain best practices, templates, and policies for efficient operation.

  • Demonstrate meticulous communication, file, and workstream management to ensure accurate and efficient handling of all event-related documentation and correspondence.

  • Update and manage program "Master Documents" and other tracking documents for organization-wide reporting.

Sustainability and Inclusion & Diversity Integration

  • Seamlessly integrate TH’s sustainability and I&D commitments into event planning to ensure activations reflect the brand's values and initiatives.

  • Actively manage and offset the carbon footprint associated with Global & EMEA Events.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Educational Background: A university degree in marketing, business, hospitality, media, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

  • Professional Experience: 7-10 years of related work experience, with a full understanding of event planning and execution in a global context.

  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in large-scale event or media project management, particularly within the apparel or entertainment industries.

  • Technical Proficiency: High level of technology literacy, with proficiency in Windows, OSX, Keynote, and Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is advantageous.

  • Project Management: A demonstrated passion for process development and the ability to manage complex projects with a results-oriented approach.

  • Trend Awareness: Strong knowledge of current lifestyle, fashion, and music trends to ensure events are culturally relevant and brand-aligned.

  • Innovative Problem-Solving: Ability to work creatively in a problem-solving environment, showcasing a pragmatic and creative mindset.

  • Teamwork Capabilities: Strong capabilities in teamwork and collaboration, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a diverse team.

  • Leadership: Experienced professional who acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience and contributes to the creation of new processes and standards.

  • Analytical Thinking: Proven track record of solving a wide range of issues, demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

  • Process & Standards Contribution: Experience in contributing to the definition of processes and standards within the field of event management.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to gain the cooperation of others and network with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

  • Autonomy: Works with autonomy and is able to stabilize in a complex role for an extended period, adapting to new challenges and changes in the field.
