The Merchandiser for Women’s Sportswear will be responsible for executing the Product Strategy, Assortment Creation, and evolution of the North America Women’s Sportswear, and Accessories Full Price, and Women’s Off- Price business. They will work with our Senior Director of Merchandising and Global Teams to execute strategies that balance brand vision, trend and business drivers while delivering on internal financial and sales goals. This position collaborates and communicates closely with cross functional teams such as Global Merchandising, Sales, and Planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for curation of sportswear assortments in full price and off price that balance global brand vision, regional goals and trends, and deliver on internal financial targets
  • Provide first-hand knowledge at the SKU-level of collections, seasonal strategies and key initiatives for the North America market to capitalize on and drive the business
  • Participate in all milestone meetings throughout seasonal calendar cycle as the voice for the North America market, ensuring NA is taken into consideration with decision making that impacts global distribution
  • Manage global and internal calendar milestones for respective businesses in order to ensure all deadlines are met in a timely manner
  • Create market-specific range plans taking into account North America market and account-specific needs; facilitate NA exclusives where necessary
  • Analyze historical data and feedback from the North America market to best service each account’s needs
  • Analyze and report on selling and market trends
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Global Merchandising to influence and ensure Regional product needs are met
  • Work with Planning to Prepare and maintain detailed assortment roll-ups to ensure KPI’s are met and aligned to overall strategy and plan
  • Curate compelling product assortments that are brand enhancing and customer focused, inclusive of door recommends through climate, pricing and region
  • Partner with Senior Director to Plan, organize, and support showroom set-up
  • Own Key Pre Market Milestones such as Pre Line with Accounts, Collection Handover, and Wholesale Line Adoption to clearly present seasonal strategies, product build up, fixture assortments, and price architecture to educate sales teams at multiple touchpoints prior to sell in
  • Support Sales during and post market with market requests, assortment additions / edits
  • Work with Merch Ops to ensure smooth and timely execution of post- market system requirements

Qualifications:

  • College degree
  • 5+ years of merchandising experience, preferably with experience in womenswear
  • Ability to multi task in fast paced environment
  • Highly organized & possess excellent analytical acumen
  • Articulate with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Very detail oriented
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Knowledge of global retail landscapes
  • Strong computer skills – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe.  Must learn internal systems both current and future systems
  • Proactive and self-starter
  • Provide solutions and recommendations as business challenges arise
  • Continually evaluate methods/ procedures of merchandising to enhance service to our customers
  • Digitally savvy; explore internal & external digital tools which could benefit North America markets
  • Ability to find answers through alternate means when not provided directly
  • Be a trusted and reliable member of the Merchandising team and the go-to person for their business
  • Willing to take on other merchandising responsibilities not directly outlined here
  • Highly collaborative, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to develop direct reports
  • Ability to travel quarterly

Pay Range:$80,150---$113,700

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible.
