POSTION SUMMARY: (Briefly state the main purpose and function of the position. Describe why this position exists and its major contribution to the organization.)

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, overseeing production management, ensuring efficient order placement, and maintaining the order book. This position plays a critical role in capacity allocation and product review to optimize supply chain efficiency. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and improve overall operational effectiveness and production delivery performance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES (Describe the major responsibilities and accountabilities of the position. Clearly and concisely indicate the end result(s) a person in the position is expected to accomplish.)

  • Production management and on time deliveries.
  • Buy confirmation and capacity allocation.
  • Liability management and lead time control.
  • System update and compliance line SAP/VMS/Infor Nexus and PLM.
  • Vendor management, training and relationship building.
  • Status Reporting and escalation.
  • Product aesthetic reviews/ alignment and Risk analysis.

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONTACTS (the type and degree of regular contact the position has with contacts inside the company and outside the organization.)

Internal Contacts:  On shore and off shore cross functional teams.

External Contacts: Vendor/ Mills/ Logistics/ Trim Suppliers

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education & Experience: (The required degrees, certifications or licenses & the number of years and type of experience required for this position.)

  • University/Engineering degree with 5-8 years of related work experience; or post-secondary degree with minimum of 8-9 years of related work experience in apparel, material or technical background
  • Should have experience apparel manufacturing/buying or liaison office.
  • Should have profound knowledge advanced Microsoft excel, Power BI, Tableau and Power point presentation. Also, should be able to work on SAP, PLM, GTN & VMS systems.

Skills: (The specific skills an individual must possess in order to meet the expectations of the position.)

  • Team player, navigate through change and challenges.
  • Should have experience in a manufacturing environment or similar previous working experience preferred.
