Sr Coordinator, Global Public Relations - Calvin Klein

The Sr Coordinator, Global Integrated PR will support the Global Integrated Senior PR Manager on all communications strategies, editorial and celebrity sample trafficking with Global PR, cross-functional partners, media, and stylists as well as always on fashion trend product pitching, reporting and seeding initiatives.
 

This role will assist in ensuring that the brand equity and demand for key Calvin Klein products and brand moments connect and inspire new/existing audiences via media and owned channels.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Support for Senior Manager, Global Integrated PR /PR team in development of global communications strategies, programming and activations that drive demand and energy aligned to brand goals and business objectives.
  • Manage editorial and celebrity sample requests with key global publications taking place in North America for mainline, runway collection, new product ventures collections, and licensees (when needed).
  • Lead long-lead and short-lead product pitching for roundups and gift guides.
  • Coordinate with affiliate marketing lead to leverage media program for organic pitching.
  • Coordinate with Integrated PR Assistant on day-to-day sample trafficking, closet organization and asset management.
  • Monitor and track industry trends and news and provide regular weekly reports on industry trends, media moves, and competitive analyses.
  • Manage and maintain editorial sample trafficking, coverage and pitching reports.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts including press and stylists.
  • Lead execution of celebrity dressing media alert blasts.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

2-5 years of relevant experience in Fashion PR/Communications and celebrity relations with a focus on editorial, celebrity street style/red-carpet dressing pitching, product storytelling, and runway/collection. Must have key media and celebrity stylist relationships and proven track record within fashion/entertainment/culture industries.

Education:   Bachelor’s Degree Required

  • Strong interpersonal skills – must be a team player!
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Relationships with key editors and stylists at major outlets necessary.
  • Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, creative, collaborative environment.
  • Deep knowledge and interest in media trends. 
  • Be in the know – stay current on fashion, entertainment, lifestyle, culture, art, music and design trends. 
  • Live the function – have a strong POV on media, digital platforms/commerce and latest trends. 
  • Resourceful, creative and self-motivated with strong organizational skills and aptitude for immediately developing a highly organized approach to managing multiple projects.
  • Must be motivated, flexible, poised, and adaptable in rapidly changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Developed editorial and design skills (writing, editing, grammar, proofreading, laying out + designing presentations, etc.) along with a high-level of creativity.
  • A strong aesthetic sensibility and exposure to/understanding of fashion, photography, architecture, and/or art required.
  • Familiarity with PR tools and software, such as Meltwater, Fashion GPS/Launchmetrics, Tribe, and MuckRack.
  • Google Sheet / Excel proficiency is required.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the management of marketing budgets under the Global Integrated PR umbrella.

DECISION MAKING:

This role will support the Senior Manager, Global Integrated PR in the decisions related to day-to-day management and optimization of seasonal marketing strategies and execution; solving problems by providing creative solutions and driving continual efforts to maintain Calvin Klein Brand standards.

RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY:

This role must be highly creative in the development of integrated PR/communications strategies and its implementation across the multiple regions and licensed partners.

ENVIRONMENT:

The environment is extremely fast-paced and deadline driven but maintains a supportive and team-oriented atmosphere. Travel as needed.

Pay Range:$65,000 - $70,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements.
