The Digital Asset Manager, EU is responsible for the day-to-day management of the CK assets for EU purposes on the Global DAM, including user administration & rights permissions, metadata & tagging, asset management, and onboarding & training. The role will also oversee the EU specific downstream systems for wholesale and marketing content. This person should have experience managing an online-based DAM in a product or retail centric environment. This role requires a deep understanding of multiple digital file formats, and an in-depth knowledge of workflow management systems. Must be detail oriented with a superior understanding of content management systems. Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must, as this role interacts with a wide variety of people at all levels of the organization. A working knowledge of copyright and intellectual property laws is valuable. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Responsible for the daily management of content on multiple platforms, overseeing EU asset workflows and metadata standards to align with global studios and DAM

  • Generate usage reports from the tool when requested

  • Help create and maintain user guides and best practices

  • Register and train internal and external users

  • Evangelize and roll out the tools to the larger organization

  • Manage the delivery of content to downstream systems for use by wholesale and marketing teams

  • Assists with any platform updates or transitions.

  • Liaise with global studios and file deliveries, naming conventions and file specifications

  • Manage EU instance of Creative Force studio platforms

  • Manage Asset Coordinator, EU

 

Experience:      

  • 5+ years of professional experience working directly with digital content management systems. Experience in a product-based volume business is desired.

  • A degree in Library Science is preferred.

 

Skills:  

  • Must have proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft office applications

  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and accurate

  • Capable of managing a large number of concurrent, high-priority projects with minimal supervision

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

  • Professional demeanor and proactive approach

  • Ability to interface with all levels within the organization
