About the Role:

The HR Representative - Retail acts as the main point of contact for retail field associates. They provide accurate information on payroll, benefits, company policies, and State, Federal, and local/city laws. They prioritize customer service, process payroll efficiently, and handle employee relations. They collaborate effectively within the department. Additionally, they handle administrative tasks and assist with worker's compensation, leaves of absence, and benefits enrollment review and audit, as required by management.

What You'll Do:

  • Working closely with payroll to ensure that accurate and timely pay is being issued when processing new hires, transfers, salary increases or terminations.

  • Ensure that State, Federal, and local documents (I-9s, W-4, Minor Work Permits, etc.) are present and align with applicable laws, as well as Company’s Policy and Procedure requirements.

  • Verifies the integrity and completion of all New Hire documentation to meet or exceed the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley and Internal Audit.

  • Responsible for Monthly and Semi-Annual auditing of Full-time associates' average weekly hours to ensure compliance with Federal regulations. Audits are done before and after eligibility.

  • Weekly and monthly audit reports to ensure Workday accuracy.

  • Interpretation and enforcement of retail policies and procedures.

  • Directly responsible for all changes to associates' records in a timely manner in the Workday system—salary, promotions, demotions, reduction of hours, increase in hours, terminations. Ensuring all supporting documentation is reviewed with the associate and accurate records are kept.

  • Working with Store Operations and DSM on store closing. Ensuring that severance letters are administered timely and accurately.

  • Special projects as needed.

  • Maintain a detailed log of all leaves of absences, including Short Term and Long Term Disability cases, in compliance with HIPPA regulations and Federal and State FMLA laws. Communicate extensively with associates and Store Managers to gather all necessary information. Send out required notification letters to associates. Coordinate the transition from STD to LTD when applicable. Consult with Corp Benefits for complex claims.

  • Responsible for accurate benefits enrollment processing ensuring all enrollments meet IRS regulations. Responsible for collecting benefits premiums that may have been missed and communicating that amount to the associate. Collaborating with Benefits Department on resolving benefit-related issues.

  • Directly responsible for all Annual Open Enrollment processes through Workday. Direct contact for requesting and reviewing necessary documentation, answering questions, and sending follow-up information as needed to associates.

  • Ensure timely entry of workers’ compensation claims into the online reporting system of the Workers Compensation carrier. Serve as a liaison between the carrier and associates, ensuring the payment of relevant benefit premiums. Collaborate with the carrier and Store Manager to facilitate a return to work or possible modified duty for associates.

  • Collaborate with field management to address employee issues and maintain positive relationships within and outside the organization. Ensure compliance with company policy, Federal regulations, and State and local laws. Assist in handling serious allegations, seeking guidance when needed.

  • Collaborating with the unemployment vendor to process and communicate unemployment claims promptly and accurately, minimizing financial impact to PVH.

What You'll Bring:

  • Human Resources experience preferred

  • College Degree or comparable work experience preferred

  • Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish).

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Diligent and organized.

  • Self-starter, flexible, and analytical.

  • PC skills (MS Word, Excel).

  • Knowledge of Workday HR system a plus.
