Global Product Marketing Group
The Global Product Marketing group develops best in class product marketing initiatives that provide for high commercial impact & product storytelling for our main product groups globally. The Group is end-responsible for developing product marketing programs & content and develops our editorial programming that enables the brand to build commercial value around our key product programs.
With a team of approximately 12 associates, the group has 3 core responsibilities:
Product Marketing Strategy – Support and co-create together with the (S)VP the product marketing strategy. Specialists who continuously research, design and implement new standards in product storytelling. This group drives the relationship between the Merchandising and Marketing teams to plan & communicate the key product stories every season per division to the end consumer.
Editorial Programming – an Editor-in-Chief leader and editorial team who deliver the seasonal blueprint of our product storytelling throughout all channels & full funnel.
Content Strategy – The team develops the content strategy in support of the editorial programming and leads the aggregation of all content needs for all marketing and commercial touchpoints.
The Position
The Manager Product Marketing is actively supporting the team in making the Tommy Hilfiger brand stand out in the fashion industry and beyond. Your team assignment is to bring the Tommy Jeans lifestyle image to the next level while understanding the competitive environment and having the consumer as the central focus. This role will have more of a focus on the Tommy Jeans brand, which will focus on more of a mainstream, fashion trends consumer. In this position, you are responsible with the Director and Sr. Manager for the development of selected marketing communications & product support programs, taking into consideration regional differences and state of the business, making sure these programs align with the overall marketing strategy and brand vision.
Together with the rest of the team you will drive and facilitate the roll-out of all programs across the respective touchpoints & regions in a very cohesive way. You will work closely with an assigned (Jr./Sr.) Marketing Specialist under the supervision Director and Sr. Manager. A thorough understanding of the brand positioning and competitive environment is required to develop unique and innovative marketing communications projects. You will work in close cooperation with the Marketing Team members and all other cross functional peers and stakeholder to execute all assigned projects and programs.
Responsibilities
Include but not limited to:
Deeply understand the brand’s vision, strategic objectives & actions to develop effective marketing toolboxes and initiatives to support the key business and team goals at a global, regional and key market level.
Contribute to the development of 360 marketing campaigns with focus on Commercial campaigns, with inclusion of sell-in & sales support tools, working with the cross functional teams throughout the entire marketing creation process.
Establish a close working relationship with the Division/BU GTM & Merch teams to deliver holistic and unified concepts for the specific Division/BU.
Collaborate closely with the merchandising team to understand seasonal assortments, product flows, and hero items to ensure campaigns amplify the most commercially and culturally relevant products.
Work within the campaign roll-out budget allocation and timing plans as indicated by the Sr. Director.
Preparation of all required documents at each stage of the project process: presentations prepping, recapping and reviewing work (including product catalogues, line books, and any other required).
Organisation of SharePoint/folders/server as required for projects and team to ensure effective access to information.
The Ideal Candidate
+5 years apparel/fashion/lifestyle/creative agency/creative marketing experience at a global/international level
University degree or similar in marketing, creative, communications, business studies or significant equivalent work experience
Strong aesthetic eye and taste level, strict attention to detail
Understanding of the cultural landscape of streetwear and the latest fashion trends is a must
Project management and organisation skills
Strong sense of collaboration with the confidence to effectively engage with different stakeholders across the company
Pragmatic thinker and creative problem solver with a hands-on mentality
You have a very service-minded approach and work calmly under pressure to always find innovative and workable solutions
Good communicator and excellent team player: positive, energetic and constructive, taking responsibility for getting things done, and taking pride in doing them well
On the pulse of latest technology and passionate innovation driver with a digital/social first mindset
Business-level English (written & verbal) as well as solid communication skills
