The Team
The Tommy Hilfiger Menswear division is one of the main business drivers within Tommy Hilfiger Europe. Based in the Amsterdam European HQ, the team is split into 5 sub-teams: Merchandising, Product Development, Design, Sourcing and Buying & Planning. These 5 teams work together in an informal setting to create superbly styled and high-end quality products for the Global consumer base.

The Position
As a member of the Merchandising team, the Merchandise Coordinator will assist the Senior Merchandiser / Merchandising Manager on collection development and product related, digital asset and article management. Next to this, there is a strong collaboration within the Design and Product Development teams to work on cross-product group strategies and build up a strong collection.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Asset & Article Management:

• Support the Senior Merchandiser / Merchandising Manager with all administrative and operational merchandising functions.
• Ensured all data base components are updated at all times including: Provided sales support during selling season, communicating updates, reminders, information to sales, production and supply chain teams.
• Coordinate all details related to digital asset management for sales tools. Articles Management: Manage PLM system for all Knits and ensuring data integrity.
• Coordinate Market Launch with market merchandising team on samples and digital selling presentation/booklet
• Assist with analysis and numerical research (Price research, Seasonal analysis, countries range plan meeting document, DCR, and ML documents, ad hoc reporting).

Collection Development & Product:

• Assist with collection building (Post seasonal analysis and building range plans, Price build up and sell in information).
• Work with the Market Merchandising Manager creating Seasonal go-to-market strategies. Knowledge of Knitwear is a plus.
• Event management and logistic coordination during key events on product and sales.
• Ensured smooth process and completion of all projects in a timely manner.

The Ideal Candidate

• A completed University Bachelor’s degree (Business/Finance or Fashion preferred).
• 1 year's merchandising experience preferred.
• Strong numerical and organization skills. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects/seasons simultaneously.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent MS Excel (reporting big data amount, executing pivots and other analysis), Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Team player mindset, embraces team mentality and collaboration as the main key to success.
