All brand strategy, product development, and innovation are led and driven by certain PVH affiliates in the US concerning products under Calvin Klein, and Tommy Hilfiger sold in NA, Asia, and SA; and in the Netherlands with respect to products bearing the Tommy Hilfiger Europe, Calvin Klein Europe with respect and sold in the Asia region. The position in this job description helps the above-mentioned PVH related parties meet their operating and strategic needs.

• Responsible for Product Development and Bulk order execution for the brand and collaborating with different teams. Product development includes driving concept / Ideation work with factories for the brand. Assist the supervisor for the day-to-day execution and operations in line with the brand’s strategy to achieve KPIs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle end-to-end merchandising process, from material sourcing, development, bulk production to shipment follow-up
• Manage order specification, costing, price negotiation, and liaison with suppliers.
• Order follow-up and liaison with vendors with up-keeping data for management review.
• Perform daily operations ensuring quality and delivery performance as required.
• Drive seasonal concept-building and Ideation work
• Drive Product Risk Analysis and Tracking
• Conduct preliminary cost analysis with the vendor
• System data entry
• WIP management
• Assist supervisor on daily execution
• Assist in the follow-up on the execution of bulk production including trims, fabrics production schedule and delivery status.

Internal Contacts:  Work with other business counter-parts, material, colorists, technical teams, Sourcing, Design        

External Contacts: Vendors, Mills, trim suppliers, Labs

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education & Experience:

• University/Engineering degree with 4-5 years of related work experience
• Proven experience working in Denim and Woven manufacturing or Brand sourcing.
• Good Product knowledge, and strong mathematical, analytical & problem-solving skills, and negotiation skills
• material or technical background

• Should have experience in buying/trading office or manufacturing environment.

Skills:

• Good product knowledge, costing techniques, vendor development, liaison with the Brand Home office, and coordination with production plants.
• Apparel sourcing background with Material sourcing and product technical knowledge.
• Should have experience in a manufacturing environment or similar previous working experience preferred.
• Good Knowledge of product risk assessment function
• Builds good working relationships; collaborates toward deadlines and deliverables.
• Able to communicate effectively across the team and organization; effectively works at long distances.
• Good skill set in handling MS tool
