Position Summary: Responsible for managing post-confirmation sample review process, providing corrective action and communicating with the vendors to ensure on-time production that meets the quality standards of the brand. Working with the vendors to improve factory production efficiency and ensure correct production standards. An excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques is required to ensure corrective measures are translatable into production and good quality footwear.
Job Duties:
1. Responsible for managing Extreme Size, Cutting Die Trial and Pre-Production sample approval on time.
2. Ensure high 1st pass rate for PPT.
3. Participate in tear down meetings to provide technical expertise to the development team
4. Ensure consistent fitting and appearance in production with confirmation sample
5. Follow up on SOP accuracy with your team, aligned format
6. Lead, mentor and manage your team.
7. Organize pre-production meeting (PPT), handover the style and SOP to QA and factory
8. Communicate weekly ppt schedule, 1st pass rate and production delays to Planning Team
9. Monitor production start/perform walk the lines on a regular basis to follow up on the accuracy of production and quality
10. Identify and implement innovative manufacturing technologies, continuously improving production processes to enhance efficiency and sustainability
11. Analyze production data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement
12. Build strong relationships with factories, collaborate and provide technical expertise to resolve production challenges, ensure compliance with quality and brand standards.
13. Drive a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement
14. Support QA/QC team on improving GMP results and follow up on CAPs when production issues or claims.
15. Support on sourcing new factories.
16. Perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 15 years in footwear manufacturing and development related role
2. A bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing or similar related field
3. Good written and oral English skills
4. Good MS Office skills (Excel and Word)
5. Good communication, presentation and team management skills
6. Expected to work in both company office and factories to review samples.
