POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager, Global Brand Experience & Events will project lead the planning and execution of events for a wide range of Global communications and experiential marketing initiatives, including brand image events, runway, consumer / retail engagements and priority marketing extensions.

In addition to Global projects, this role will specialize in stewardship of Regions and Licensee events and the development of scalable Global directives.

The ideal candidate will be able to identify global culture impact moments, emerging trends, compelling brand opportunities, and creative ways of communicating brand messaging, while passing each through the lens of the brand to implement exciting programs that speak directly to influencers, press, and consumers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

GLOBAL BRAND EXPERIENCE + EVENTS

  • Senior producer and project owner for events, or portions of, fully owning planning end to end, and closely communicating with the Director(s) along the way.  Core projects for role will be brand events, runway and store openings.  
  • Lead event planning and execution (e.g., event concept, guest experience, event layout and design, venue scouting, agency management, vendor hire and management, entertainment bookings and talent hospitality, décor and scenic, asset creation, food & beverage experience, permitting and logistics, contract negotiations); production schedules and timelines; budget ownership; and post event return on investment reporting.
  • The Senior Manager will work closely with the Sr. Director to ideate and develop event concepts and programs that elevate brand positioning and are aligned to Global marketing strategies.
  • Spearhead cross-functional collaboration and alignment with both internal and external partners to deliver the highest quality and impactful events.
  • Lead creation of internal and external event decks, inclusive Leadership presentations and reviews, and detailed agency RFPs.
  • Drive agency hire and RFP/briefings and be primary agency contact for designated event projects.
  • Identify culture and industry happenings for brand opportunities.  Spearhead team in keeping pulse on relevant global culture moments and happenings in New York and key global cities.  
  • Develop and maintain relationships with top agency partners, vendors, venues, and industry creatives.  Propose and vet new and exciting partners.
  • Function as a self-starter and inspiring leader that generates usable ideas across all experiential platforms.  Actively supply to creative brainstorms based on marketing strategy, brand experience strategy, and program objectives.

REGIONS & LICENSEE

  • Lead team in development and distribution of innovative and scalable Global event directives and toolkits for Regions and Licensee partners.
  • Lead department communications as primary Brand Experience & Events (BX) partner for NA Region, to provide strategic Global directives and executional guidance for market event initiatives.
  • Oversee team (and directly as required) in stewardship and regular check-ins with Region, JV & Licensee counterparts to ensure consistency of strategy and brand execution.

TEAM LEADERSHIP & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive career development and mentor direct and in-direct reports within the Brand Experience team.  Develop teams (internal & external) in execution of events.  

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop project budgets and deliver individual project budgets against parameters set by department head, identifying efficiencies and opportunities to secure preferential pricing.
  • Oversee team in invoice tracking and processing.  

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in lifestyle and/or luxury brand communications & marketing with emphasis on events, ideally with a mix of in-house and agency experience; strong knowledge of or experience in fashion industry required.  
  • 4+ years of direct project ownership within Events and leading direct reports, event teams and/or freelancers
  • Extensive experience owning full life cycle of events from strategy and concept phase to full execution. Runway experience preferred.
  • Budget development & management
  • Established industry contacts and expert in agency / vendor briefing & management
  • Experience with high-profile talent and influencers
  • Experience with Regional markets and/or licensee partners strongly preferred

Education:  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

Skills:    

  • Extensive project ownership experience in Events.
  • On the pulse of the culture zeitgeist and bring brand knowledge of industry trends, as well as an innovative and creative point of view.
  • Possess a deep understanding and knowledge of the brand and full range of product categories to convey Calvin Klein heritage and brand equities.  
  • Proactive in approach with ability to directly conceptualize and implement projects from beginning to end, while driving timelines to meet benchmarks.  
  • Ability to multi-task across concurrent projects and with exceptional attention to detail and time management capabilities.
  • Committed to finding solutions and being resourceful.
  • Agile in maneuvering across a large and complex organization with the entrepreneurial spirit and mindset to make things happen.   
  • Able to adapt to the team culture and is passionate about becoming part of it.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, Keynote, and PowerPoint. Adobe Suite preferred.

Pay Range:$120,000 - $150,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible.
