The Team
Fitting within the wider Global Brand Marketing team (GBM), PVH STUDIOS (PVHS) produces over 175,000 image assets each year for Tommy Hilfiger, primarily for the brands’ global Ecommerce websites. From its new state-of-the-art 23,500 sq. ft. facility in Amsterdam, PVHS strives to blend operational excellence with creative elevation to ensure best-in-class digital fashion consumer experiences, every day. With 9 fully-equipped Ecommerce bays running on the latest tech, 2 Editorial Studios with drive-in capacity, a Still Life Studio, Equipment Room, Sample Management area, cafe with full menu, kitchen, offices, meeting rooms and chill-out spaces - it is truly one-of-a-kind.
The Position
Reporting into the PVHS Director, Photo Studio Operations, the Styling Manager role is essential in the execution and output of the PDP Styling Direction. The role balances commercial, strategic and brand considerations, focused on styling elevation and consistency to inspire our consumers.
Manage in-studio ‘Fashion Office’ including 2x FTEs, Sr. Casting Specialist and Styling Specialist and set priorities to drive brand direction.
Create and Maintain brand guidelines for casting, styling, and hair & make-up for studio to ensure brand elevation and alignment to campaigns and Brand moments.
Oversee and own ALL styling output from seasonal pre-styling to daily PDP Shoots.
Oversee and own Casting Direction briefs to Sr. Casting Specialist and ensure daily outfit allocation to models best represent the brand in styling and fit.
Build, Manage and Lead freelance Styling and Dresser talent pool to drive elevated imagery execution against global guidelines.
Collaborate with Sr. Creative Manager and PVHS Art Directors to continually improve aesthetics.
Connect with product divisions to analyse consumer style trends and data to inform creative decision.
Develop, test and implement new scalable styling and outfitting processes.
Attend seasonal divisional briefings to understand and translate styling themes and key looks.
The Ideal Candidate
At least 7-10 x years’ experience in a Styling role within high-volume E-Commerce fashion workflows.
Sound knowledge of wider end to end e-commerce photography process for best collaboration between studio teams.
Strong background in balancing creative with commercial, operational and strategic business acumen.
Elevated creative portfolio resonating with contemporary fashion consumers.
Experience driving automation and standardizing workflows within elevated creative standards.
Preferable track-record of inspiring, managing and directing creative teams.
Previous editorial experience desirable.
