About THE ROLE

The Retail Supply Chain team is responsible for the movement of goods to and from our Full Price Stores, Brand Partners & Outlets across Region North.   The team has ownership of goods in transit and stock flow, store to store transfers and sale exits. The team are also responsible for the management of retail warehousing & transportation.

Working closely with all key retail stakeholders (buying, planning, retail operations, visual merchandising and store teams) collaboration, strong communication and a passion for opportunity and success are the foundations for this team!

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Assistant plays a key role in ensuring that stock is available in the right place, at the right time.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of all goods in transit by tracking deliveries and ensuring smooth flow from location to location
  • Being the main point of contact for deliveries queries and troubleshooting from stores:  answering queries in a timely manner.
  • Supporting the daily release process by updating Pack & Hold reports, coordinating with wider teams to identify deliveries for release and removing blocks in SAP.
  • Be the point of contact with our Brand Partners for releases & deliveries: making bookings on brand partner portals where necessary and uploading pre advice forms
  • Updating & sending out key reports including daily P&H release tracker, goods in transit reports and Outbound Trucks reports.
  • Support with Store to Store Transfers: booking transportation, transferring in the system where needed and tracking
  • Take a lead role in Sale exits at the end of each season by communicating sale exits requests to Brand Partners, tracking progress and booking transportation
  • Support on stock take process, updating business on stock file accuracy
  • Investigate stock inaccuracies and work with stock control to improve accuracy
  • Support wider teams to ensure best practice Orderbook Management across Region North including clear process and timelines for Order Entry, Orderbook clean-up and day to day tracking to ensure smooth flow through the warehouse.
  • Attend retail & brand partner trade meetings as needed: providing clear updates & insights on shipping and support with any actions.
  • Support Supply Chain Manager in identifying opportunities for efficiency & improvement as well as supporting execution of process improvements and projects.

About YOU

  • You're educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally a degree with an analytical bias
  • You Cultivate Belonging and Collaborate to Win by building relationships and are confident working with multiple departments to consolidate information
  • You have some experience of using Microsoft Excel, confident using basic formulas.
  • You Stay Curious and have a keen eye for detail, being able to use lots of data to pull out key information to Make Informed Decisions
  • You Take Ownership, you’re super organised and confident managing your own deadlines
  • You preferably have experience using SAP, but not essential
