Position Summary: (Please provide a brief summary of the overall purpose of this role): 

The Ariba Functional Analyst will contribute to support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of SAP Ariba solutions in procurement function. This role will be working in partnership with technical resources on the Ariba and SAP teams, responsible for development, unit testing and documentation of enhancements and day-to-day support activities and new implementation projects within the SAP Ariba Technology.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities Of The Job (Please list and describe the most important duties of the role): 

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing module in design, configure, test, debug and process workflows documentation
  • Business process analysis, requirement gathering, process re-engineering and Ariba functional design and solutioning.
  • Ability to handle day-to-day Ariba production issues, problem tickets and change requests.
  • Accountable for and provide solutions for any cross functional issues or enhancements.
  • Perform and test Ariba configurations to ensure desired results are achieved.
  • Identify the areas for business process improvement and establish effective and efficient system processes to support
  • Acts as liaison between business, NA Ariba team, IT and SAP team for troubleshooting, business process mapping and system enhancements
  • Participate in system and integration testing and production go live activities
  • Develop and maintain documentation including process flows, user guides, and training materials
  • Ad hoc projects and duties as required by Ariba Manager

Qualifications & Experience

Experience (Please choose):

  Developing level of knowledge & skills - typically 2-5 Years of related experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years in implementing Ariba technologies, specifically Ariba P2P, Invoicing Pro, Spend Analysis, rules and exception workflows
  • Experience and functional knowledge of the Procure-to-Pay life cycle, technical knowledge of the Ariba infrastructure and integration layers
  • Experience in end-to-end Ariba implementations, including integration with SAP ERP (S/4HANA) is a plus
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience in translating business requirements into Ariba solutions
  • Exposure to change management, user training, and post-go-live support.

Education (Please choose):

  Bachelor Degree Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Ariba certifications in relevant modules are a plus.

Knowledge/Skills Required (Please indicate if there is specific knowledge required to do this job, for example: computer technology, platform or language; specific area of expertise or licensing/certification, problem solving, analytical skills, effectively working with all levels, etc.)

  • Must have the ability to work in a global delivery model
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate with multiple IT domains
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities on an aggressive timeline
  • Familiarity with Ariba Network, supplier enablement, and compliance frameworks.
