The head office for the DACH and EEC markets, covering 13 countries with more than 2.700 employees, is located in Düsseldorf and is the main location for around 500 employees.
 

Our role in Franchise & Partnership at PVH GER+, in an often challenging environment, is to be a brand ambassador and performance-driven assortment & numbers expert to deliver a personalized and local customer experience and meet customer demand. A support for our partners to achieve their goals and adapt to the fast changing market needs.                                

As an Assortment Expert, you will play a central role in creating and managing the ideal product assortment across franchise & partnership areas to maximize sales, profitability, and sell-through rates. You act as the link between franchise/ consignment/depot partners and sales teams, ensuring data-driven decision-making and smooth execution of assortment strategies.

A day in the life of a Buying & Merchandise Specialist (m/f/x):

  • You will develop and manage the ideal purchasing assortment to increase sales across partnership and consignment/depot areas for all brands and divisions.
  • You will adjust assortments locally and introduce limited capsules to drive seasonal conversion strategies.
  • You will define the optimal NOS-to-collection ratio and manage seasonal assortment adjustments to maximize performance.
  • You will coordinate assortments across divisions to ensure consistency and alignment with the overall company strategy.
  • You will analyze top sellers, product group shares, and create size keys based on sales data.
  • You will conduct sales analyses and provide actionable recommendations to the Manager Franchise & Partnership.
  • You will independently manage reorders for Franchise Partners and Partnership areas.
  • You will prepare orders based on sales data, focusing on key KPIs for the Franchise & Partnership business.
  • You will act as a key interface between internal stakeholders, including Sales Operations Specialists, Area Managers, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Controlling, and Sales Team Leads.
  • You will develop and monitor an efficient stakeholder taskforce and communication structure to foster effective cross-departmental collaboration.

What do we need from you? You have:                                                                        

  • University degree in Business Economics, Textile Management, Fashion Management or a related field; alternatively, several years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position                                                              
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in retail, wholesale, e-com or omni-channel buying or merchandise controlling.
  • Deep knowledge and insight into the fashion industry, market trends, future consumer behavior or e-commerce is a plus.  
  • Strong expertise in merchandise buying combined with a sharp sense for fashion and trends.                
  • Strong Excel skills and a very good understanding of numbers.
  • Skilled in cross-functional communication and stakeholder management.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
