The Director for Calvin Klein Collection and Special Projects leads the product strategy and brand growth for the Collection and Special Projects global market. Specifically, this role is responsible for the sales, distribution, and merchandising of mens and womens apparel, footwear, accessories, and close-to-body, within the Collection and Special Projects space.

This position collaborates closely with external and internal cross functional partners to deliver one, clear, concise vision, with a focus on driving brand halo. They will partner closely with design and development to architect a collection that balances creativity with commerciality. They will partner with the regional leads to set and deliver the sales, distribution, and go-to-market strategy. They will drive the ideation, strategic roadmap, and execution of all special projects from start to finish. Full ownership of global line planning for Collection and Special Projects as it relates to assortment balance, style / skus counts, regional/account exclusives, segmentation, pricing, and distribution. Ensures all product is properly flowed from sketch creation, to purchase order issue, and to go-to-market strategy.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the Job:

  • Define & lead the global Collection and Special Projects strategy on holistic and seasonal level.
  • Collaborative & consistent communication with channels to gather unique regional & market needs.
  • Partner with design and development to deliver a balanced and competitively priced assortment that meets the commercial needs of the business. Collaboration with raw material & supply teams to cost product at all pricing tiers within margin goals.
  • Partner with regional leads to set and deliver to the global distribution targets. Ensure regional execution aligns with global vision. Research relevant wholesale accounts and build relationships with buying teams.
  • Stand-up collection development and sell-in processes to ensure a smooth internal and external market.
  • Partner with VM, Brand Experience, Marketing, Retail, and Wholesale teams to drive end to end go-to-market and in-store launch and seasonal deliveries.
  • Drive calendar deliverables on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to make sure all milestones are tracking on time.
  • Thorough understanding of marketspace, inclusive of direct competitors and aspirational brands.
  • Strong partnership with internal and external design partners to bring product to life in coordination with the brand identity, balancing commercial with aspirational.
  • Manage 1 direct report

Qualifications & Experience

Experience:

10 years of Global Merchandising & Wholesale experience.

Previous experience in designer landscape.


Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising or equivalent

Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Strategic problem solver who recognizes opportunities and can influence decision makers to move to execution.
  • Strong product sense with proven experience in driving product assortments and partnering with Design to conceive product concepts that drive business.
  • Strong wholesale skills with existing relationships and proven track record to build new ones.
  • Must be a creative problem solver who can balance multiple tasks quickly.
  • Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Must possess high level of analytical skills and conceptual creative ability
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Must possess a global perspective with international market experience.
  • Solid understanding of the competitive landscape
  • High energy and a positive attitude are a must.
  • High taste level and brand understanding

Pay Range:$143,200---$193,300

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. PVH is committed to providing a market-competitive total rewards package to eligible associates, which includes diverse and robust health and insurance benefits to meet the varied needs of our associates and an above-market 401(k) contribution to help our associates save for retirement. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible. This role is equity eligible.
