POSITION SUMMARY:  This role will be a member of the HR Technology team and is responsible for providing consultation and collaboration to cross-functional teams both inside and outside of HR.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: 

  • Develops relationships with key stakeholders to understand their business and challenges. Must be highly analytical, technically astute, a solid communicator, and a fast learner
  • Analyze data flows to understand the various manual steps to determine the appropriate system business process changes.
  • Mass upload transactions such as new hires, promotions, salary/allowance changes, terminations, etc. into Workday through EIBs
  • Update Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) and related documentation up to date based on enhancements or other changes.
  • Utilizes tools to develop business process document templates
  • Support the Workday release process by coordinating and performing all testing for Workday releases for functional areas.  Partner with business to facilitate release management process
  • Respond, log, and maintain requests in People Services Portal (ServiceNow), serve as a point of escalation for tickets escalated to Tier 2, takes ownership of issue thought resolution and communicates and educates business teams as needed on resolution.
  • Trouble-shoot process flaws and provide solutions or suggest alternate methods

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of HR systems (Workday) requirements gathering & analysis, configuration and troubleshooting experience preferred
  • 4 plus years’ experience working in a service/support capacity strongly preferred
  • 2 plus years’ experience with ServiceNow or similar platform

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of HR Systems & Process (Workday)
  • Experience configuring & supporting Workday reports and business processes
  • Strong HR process & initiative acumen and technical aptitude
  • Candidate must be a self-starter who possesses strong customer focus, command skills, comfortable implementing change, and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Advanced analytical, problem solving, and organization skills
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel
  • The ability to handle multiple high-priority requests/tasks.
  • The ability to think critically and make knowledgeable decisions.
  • Project management experience.
  • The ability to work independently with limited direction.
  • The ability to communicate with people of all professional levels.
