The Team
The DTC Buying team manages both European full-price stores and calvinklein.com across all markets. We own the end-to-end process—strategy, assortment, and trading—ensuring the strongest product offer lands at the right time in-store and online. With ambitious growth targets, we work cross-functionally to translate brand vision into commercial success across both channels.
The Position
As Junior Buyer, you’ll own divisional areas across e-commerce and retail, working closely with senior team members. You’ll help shape strategy, execute the buy, and drive performance in both channels within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Build seasonal range and buy plans with Planning, leveraging consumer insights and market trends for both retail and online.
Select and curate divisional assortments aligned to buy plans, ensuring channel relevance and commercial strength.
Represent business needs in key milestone meetings, ensuring alignment across e-commerce and retail.
Manage the full buy process: seasonal presentations, divisional buy plans, in season implementation across channels.
Drive seasonal strategy with stakeholders to ensure seamless launches in-store and online.
Brief content and marketing teams to deliver impactful storytelling and campaigns across both channels.
Partner with Planning on weekly sales analysis, proposing and executing trading actions to boost performance.
Maintain strong divisional relationships, sharing ongoing feedback and insights on product performance across e-commerce and retail.
Contribute to key cross-functional projects that accelerate growth across full-price and digital.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform both retail and e-commerce strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to maximize trading opportunities and deliver results in both channels.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in a Buying Department preferably with 3-5 years working experience.
Product knowledge, demonstrating excellent commercial awareness in the Apparel field
Excellent system skills Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint combining your passion for numbers and analytical skills with fashion.
A strong eye for detail, great organizational skills and works to a high level of accuracy.
Comfortable to build relationships at all levels with external and internal stakeholders.
Ability to work as part of a team as well as being a self-motivated individual, taking ownership.
Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced demanding environment where teamwork and leadership of our own area is key.
Possessing a positive and can do attitude and a flexible approach to learning.
Able to work in a multinational company where cultural awareness sensitivity is important.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, professional level of English required.
Experience in Womenswear would be an advantage.
