The Team
Within the People Experience and Services team, our mission is to deliver a seamless associate experience across EMEA, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader goals of operational excellence and service quality.

The Position
We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Manager Labor Relations EMEA to join our EMEA Labor Relations team in Amsterdam.
As Manager Labor Relations EMEA, you will play a critical role in fostering constructive social dialogue within the EMEA Headquarter in Amsterdam. You will act as a trusted partner to the work councils in Amsterdam and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with local labor laws while supporting PVH’s business priorities and brand strategies. This role requires strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to navigate complex consultations and negotiations with elected employee representatives. Key Responsibilities

Social Dialogue & Works Council Engagement

  • Lead consultations and negotiations with the Works Council in Amsterdam and coordinate information flow with Venlo (warehouse), Belgium and France councils.

  • In Amsterdam, organize yearly mandatory consultations (3) with Works Council members and the Entrepreneur.

  • Send information emails to the Works Council members when needed and ensure proper communication with the Daily Board on a weekly basis.

  • Prepare and lead the monthly catch up with the Entrepreneur and the VP People Experience and Services.

  • Manage Requests for Advice (RFA) and Requests for Consent (RFC) processes in compliance with local legislation:

  • Support business stakeholders with drafting a timeline to consult with the Works Council, review the documents (RFA/RFC, Business Case, org charts, consultation decks…) before and after submission, create a consultation planning, send invites to consultation meetings and preparation meetings.

  • Support business stakeholders in answering Works Council questions, consult with legal on the overall responses, draft official letters and Company’s answers.

  • Maintain archives and documents folders for all topics, ensure accurate minutes are taken by the Labor Relations Specialist and follow up on the needed actions.

  • Prepare and deliver clear, accurate documentation for works council meetings and consultations and ensure thorough preparation of all involved stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with Works Council members and their representatives: the Daily Board (Chairperson, Vice-Chair and Secretary). Meet weekly with them to discuss current and future topics and maintain Business Calendar document and ways of working.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with HR colleagues, Legal, and business leaders to align labor relations strategies with organizational goals and PVH EHQ or EMEA priorities.

  • Be a strategic partner for the Entrepreneur (Filipe Lima) and the VP People Experience and Services.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on labor relations topics for internal stakeholders.

  • Provide guidance and templates on organizational changes, restructures, and projects requiring works council involvement.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to local labor laws and PVH policies. Collaborate closely with our Legal team to obtain employment law recommendation on specific topics and Works Council negotiations.

  • Identify and mitigate labor-related risks during business initiatives or future projects and ensure the risks are clearly known to all stakeholders to ensure a well-informed decision-making process.

Communication & Influence

  • Translate complex legal and labor topics into clear, actionable messages for diverse audiences.

  • Facilitate constructive dialogue that balances business needs with associate interests.

  • Train and onboard regularly People managers, HR stakeholders, line manager of Works Council members and stakeholders from different Regions (America or APAC) to understand and gain knowledge about European Labor Law and Amsterdam ways of working with our Works Council.

Measures of Success

  • Effective Social Dialogue: Works councils and employee representatives perceive PVH as a trusted, transparent partner. Positive feedback from works councils on collaboration and communication quality.

  • Compliance: 100% compliance with local labor laws and PVH policies in all RFA/RFC processes. No legal disputes or escalations arising from labor relations mismanagement.

  • Timely & Accurate Delivery: All Requests for Advice (RFA) and Requests for Consent (RFC) are prepared and submitted on time, with clear and accurate documentation. Projects requiring works council involvement progress without delays caused by labor relations issues.

  • Stakeholder Satisfaction: High satisfaction scores from internal stakeholders (Entrepreneur, HR, Legal, Business Leaders) regarding support and guidance. Successful completion of consultations and negotiations that enable business initiatives while maintaining employee trust.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 5 years of relevant work experience in HR or proven track record in labor relations, preferably in an international or EMEA context, or record in successful negotiations and employee representative dialogue.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree would be beneficial (Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, Law, Business or related).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix environment.

  • High level of integrity and discretion.

  • Well organized and structured profile.

  • Labor Law Knowledge. Good working knowledge of EMEA labor regulations and internal HR policies.

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to evaluate data and situations to determine appropriate actions within existing guidelines and policies.

  • Language: Fluency in English required, additional European languages are a plus.

  • Excellent organizational skills: ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills: diplomatic, respectful, confident in dealing with senior stakeholders.

  • Proactive mindset: Curious, motivated, collaborative; someone who genuinely wants to contribute and grow within the field of labor relations.

  • High integrity and ability to remain neutral, objective, and trustworthy, and to maintain high standards of confidentiality.

  • Technically proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to create meaningful content and powerful storytelling for diverse presentation.
