POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Lead Production Management and Operations in the India region for Tommy Hilfiger Apparel, covering shipments to North America, Europe, APAC and International markets.
  • Will be responsible for managing the production process, ensuring timely delivery of products and to ensure efficient and qualitative manufacturing of finished goods in the region to support Brand direction.
  • Lead teams in India, to execute multi-tiered global supply chain strategies to drive value and achieve business goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

  • Manage production planning, scheduling, and execution for assigned orders across TH – all business channels of Apparel.
  • Understand and execute on PVH Supply Plan priorities
  • Coordinate with vendors/factories to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions and ensure timely escalation of issues to the next level.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with Cross functional teams - Tech, PIT, QC, Sourcing Merch to ensure seamless execution
  • Managing strategic relationships with L1 vendors and key L2 / L3 partners
  • Manage bulk liabilities and support processes to minimize / mitigate future liability creation.
  • Ensure consumer and brand product needs are met by partnering with Technical Services, Quality team and vendors to achieve quality standards
  • Manage internal and external vendor relationships and report out on qualitative and quantitative performance metrics
  • Analyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement process optimizations
  • Lead and develop production management team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

. Extensive supply chain knowledge and experience with focus on India with at least 10-12 years in a supervisory position.

• Extensive knowledge of raw materials, costing, macro-economic trends and capacity planning

• In-depth knowledge of sourcing and production Strategy

• In-depth knowledge of multi-tiered sourcing strategies

• Knowledge of local trade policies and legislative action

• Access to an extensive network of contacts and relationships

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Garment and Textile and minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience

• Superior writing and editing skills

• Public speaking skills

• Experience developing winning communication

• Ability to manage and mentor Direct and Indirect associates in the region

• Exemplary project management and data analytical skills
