The Team

This position will form part of the Digital Consumer Operations team, which is responsible for all digital consumer operations, with a mission to help deliver best-in-class digital experiences across all markets and DTC channels. This team plays a critical role in providing the insights, tools and capabilities needed to drive commercial growth, consumer engagement and retention through excellence in customer experience, digital product development, and eCommerce and consumer analytics. This team collaborates across multiple functions, including the Brand teams, global and regional IT and the Global Analytics team to enhance the digital consumer experience, providing each brand with data-driven actionable insights to inform their strategy, commercial priorities and roadmaps.


One of the strategic pillars is to drive a more data decision-driven culture within the business. Thus, we are looking to grow and scale up our analytical capabilities and team in order to provide best-in-class support to the brands, to allow for rapid and efficient decision-making.


The Position

The Marketing Science Junior Analyst, supports both PVH brands (Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein), cross-functionally with consumer data and analytics needs.

You will work within a team of marketing analysts in collaboration with brand and performance marketiing stakeholders, focusing on our advertising efforts in the upper, mid funnel and lower funnel, developing actionable, data-driven insights for optimization of our campaigns and understanding the impact of our investment on demand generation, as well as top line revenue.

You will also be digging into the data to monitor and ensure consistency of naming conventions, as well as clean and transform data sets. This will be done to deliver key integrated media dashboards.

All these efforts will lead to an increase in the health and comprehensiveness of our digital datasets.
 

Objectives

  • Data quality: Be the data steward for brand media: ensuring high quality data through naming consistency, data cleaning as well as data transformations. In doing so you will ensure data flows in accurately to fulfill insights and reporting needs

  • Data visualization and analysis: From building target tracking dashboards, to developing campaign analyses (from data to insights) in collaboration with the media team,

  • Communication and Presentation: effectively translate data into insights that the integrated team will use for activation purposes in upper, mid and lower funnel campaigns (search/affiliation/social/display/out of home)


Position Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean and organize data from various sources such as search, affiliation, social media, display, video, out of home as well customer databases.

  • Use programming languages (Python/SQL) to manipulate and analyze data.

  • Create reports and visualizations that combine web traffic, transactions and full-funnel campaign data (using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics/Adobe and visualization tools such as Looker/Tableau/Power BI)

  • Analyze data to identify trends and patterns that can provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders to and inform digital marketing strategy.

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices to ensure the company's data analysis efforts are effective and efficient.

  • Contribute to testing roadmaps (designing experiments using statistical methods and analyzing results) to increase brand and performance KPIs (top of mind awareness and sales) across channels.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 1-3 years’ experience working in a D2C brand, digital agency or integrated media marketing environment.

  • Analytical, technical and skilled in communication. able to explain and translate consumer data analysis into relevant marketing/media insights.

  • Areas of expertise should include dashboarding, data analysis, data cleaning, and a core interest in marketing and marketing analytics.

  • Intellectually curious and entrepreneurial mentality.

  • A detail-oriented, data-driven, and creative eye, combined with the ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously.

  • Enthusiasm and ambition

You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or related field).

  • Experience with BI tooling (Looker/Tableau), web analytics platforms (Google Analytics 360 and/or Adobe).

  • SQL/Python knowledge.

  • Strong numerate, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as business fluency in English (written and verbal).

  • Knowledge of media and marketing
