POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Planner will be responsible for projecting bookings, gross margin, and receipt flow in the Off Price channel. They will work closely with sales and other cross-functional teams to help drive strategic business decisions to achieve the company’s financial goals. In addition, they improve upon/streamline business process as well as lead data integrity for the division.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

PRE-SEASON

In partnership with sales, build and forecast financial budgets by account.

Pre-season planning includes:

    Topline receipt flow by month by account

    Bottoms up forecasting at the item (SKU) level by month

    Projecting gross margin assumptions by program by account       

    Partner with Operations & Supply in providing forward-looking ‘capacity’ file    

    projections by month, by style on a monthly basis.

    Range Plan creation for Global Merch Planning

    Create Market Roll-Ups to help with Investment Review decks, intent to buy files for

    Supply, and Early Commit needs

           

IN-SEASON

           

Lead monthly order file and tracker – actualize and reforecast based on account needs and business trend.

Partner with sales and cross-functional teams in identifying risks and capitalizing on business opportunity.

           

Tracking bookings/shipments and gross margin vs budget.

Perform ad-hoc analysis and recaps as needed.          

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience in wholesale planning
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and Pivot Tables, and strong PowerPoint skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear understanding of retail math and financial metrics, including sales, gross margin, and markup as well as cost accounting
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex materials in an organized and compelling manner
  • Proficient in handling and analyzing data from multiple sources.
  • Ability to problem solve independently and collaborate effectively with key partners.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree
  • Tracks bookings/shipments and actual gross margin versus budget
  • Identifies risks and opportunities at a macro (division/account) and micro (class/SKU) level.
  • High attention to detail; ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines; possesses system thinking and can create procedures to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Able to adapt in fast-paced environment where priorities are changing frequently.

Pay Range:$85,000 - $105,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible.
