The Team
The DTC Product Management team covers the commercial ecosystem — ecom, retail, partner programmes - translating ambitious business goals into clear product vision, actionable roadmaps, and high-quality delivery. We work closely with brand teams, technology, analytics and operations teams to ensure the products we build create measurable impact for both the business and the consumer.
Within the team, each Product Owner owns a distinct capability domain — but we operate as a connected unit, sharing a common mission: to give the business the tools and capabilities it needs to deliver better experiences and drive performance.
The Position
As Product Owner for Inventory Management, you will sit at the intersection of physical retail and modern supply chain technology. You will own the product vision and delivery roadmap for our RFID-powered inventory platform — a critical capability that underpins in-store conversion, operational efficiency, and commercial decision-making across the business.
This is a high-impact role. You will be responsible for ensuring that inventory data is real-time, accurate, and trusted by both store teams and HQ stakeholders — enabling smarter decisions that directly drive revenue. You will work closely with cross-functional partners in technology, operations, merchandising, and store leadership to translate complex supply chain challenges into elegant, scalable product solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy
Define and maintain a compelling product vision for RFID and inventory management capabilities, aligned to the company's broader retail and technology strategy.
Own and prioritise the product backlog, making clear trade-off decisions that balance commercial impact, technical feasibility, and operational readiness.
Translate business goals — such as improving in-store conversion and reducing stockouts — into well-defined product initiatives with measurable outcomes.
Serve as the internal subject matter expert on RFID technology and its application within retail inventory contexts.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with local store operations, merchandising, and commercial teams to deeply understand their inventory pain points and priorities.
Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes clearly to a range of audiences — from store managers to executive leadership.
Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the engineering team, ensuring alignment and shared understanding at all stages.
Facilitate discovery workshops, user research, and in-store visits to ensure product decisions are grounded in real operational contexts.
Delivery & Execution
Ensure inventory data can be confidently leveraged for commercial activities including replenishment, markdowns, and fulfilment decisions.
Identify and resolve root causes of data inaccuracies, working with tech, operations, and store teams to implement lasting fixes.
Lead agile ceremonies — sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives — ensuring the team is focused on the right problems and delivering consistently.
Write clear, well-scoped user stories and acceptance criteria that the product team can build from confidently.
Monitor delivery against roadmap commitments, proactively flagging risks and resolving blockers.
Partner with operations & technology to ensure robust testing and rollout strategies, particularly for in-store RFID hardware and software integrations.
Identify and resolve root causes of data inaccuracies, working with tech, operations, and store teams to implement lasting fixes.
Build the frameworks and monitoring tools needed to maintain data health over time and provide visibility to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with a strong track record of delivering complex, data-driven products.
Demonstrated ability to own a product end-to-end — from strategy and roadmap through to delivery and iteration.
Experience in a retail, supply chain, or inventory management environment, ideally with exposure to in-store operations.
Strong understanding of inventory management concepts — including stock accuracy, replenishment cycles, loss prevention, and omnichannel fulfilment.
Familiarity with RFID technology principles, including read rates, tag accuracy, and hardware/software integration basics.
Familiarity with the commercial impact of inventory availability on conversion, sell-through, and customer experience.
Comfort operating in a fast-moving retail environment where data quality and timeliness are business-critical.
Experience defining and monitoring KPIs and using data to measure product outcomes.
Proven ability to influence without authority — aligning stakeholders with different priorities around a shared product direction.
Strong facilitation skills, comfortable leading workshops, discovery sessions, and sprint reviews.
