All brand strategies, product development, and innovation are led and driven by certain PVH affiliates in the US with respect to products under the Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger brands sold in NA, Asia, and SA; and in the Netherlands with respect to products bearing the Tommy Hilfiger Europe and Calvin Klein Europe brands and sold in the Asia region. The position in this job description helps the above-mentioned PVH-related parties meet their operating and strategic needs.
Possesses strong knowledge of intimate apparel and soft casual woven for men, women, and kids.
Understanding brand identity and manufacturing/machinery knowledge is essential.
Coach and support regional vendors and factories by offering guidance on best practices in style development, sewing construction, fitting, and production readiness. This ensures that design intent and cost margins are achieved Right-First-Time (RFT).
Educate stakeholders on PVH Tommy's global fit initiatives, SOPs, and GQM standards for maintaining PVH's premium standard
Drive Vendor Fit Empowerment program through training, product and process education, audit, and calibration
Factory visits for sample reviews and training are crucial and should be conducted as necessary.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Product Execution and Assessment
• Provide on-the-ground regional support for Tommy Close to Body (CTB), Intimate and Soft Casual Wovens technical compliance, focusing on sampling reviews and risk assessments.
• Coach & Train vendors in style interpretation and construction challenges by collaborating with stakeholders.
• Offer technical guidance, ensuring understanding of design aesthetics and Tommy DnA
• Ensure adherence to design intent across all sizes from Proto, 1st Fit, to Pre-Production approval.
• Support factory teams in resolving product issues and suggest alternative solutions for styling/ fit.
• Provide coaching on managing sample timelines in collaboration with Hub sourcing and vendors.
• Partner in developing and implementing SOP for product standardization and process alignment
• Share expertise in style development and garment engineering
• Promote Global Fit alignment through coaching, enhancing quality processes, and risk management.
Vendor Empowerment and Training
• Lead the regional vendor empowerment program by training and coaching factories on product details and essential processes. We aim to empower Factory Certified Fit Technicians (FCFT) to manage fit approval independently
• Foster strong relationships and collaboration with cross-functional hub offices, vendors, and partners, ensuring consistent communication to address needs throughout the product life cycle.
• Evaluate vendor performance at the conclusion of each season, pinpoint vendors requiring assistance, and devise training plans or distribute case studies to ensure that standards are understood and applied effectively.
• Revise seasonal scorecards and work alongside to produce quarterly evaluation reports for vendors and internal technical teams.

• Internal Contacts: Merchandising team, QA team, Fabric team, Trim team
• External Contacts: Buying team, Design team, Development team, Vendor's tech team and sample room, pattern cad suppliers, Interlining and sewing machine equipment suppliers

• Direct: Junior technician, technician, and senior technician
• Indirect: All relevant vendor/factory sample tech and pattern maker

• Sample approval / Pattern construction / Fitting result / Quality standard
• Make decision at the best interest of the brand and corporate

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Technical Management or related discipline preferred
• 8-10 years of garment manufacturing experience in Intimates and Soft Casual Woven
• Experience in buying/trading office or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to proactively analyze issues and problem-solve.
• Knowledge of PLM & 3D programs is a plus.
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Pattern Making for Soft Casual Woven and Intimate & garment construction and engineering
• Experience in private label is preferable
• Build good working relationships; collaborates toward deadlines and deliverables.
• Ability to effectively convey technical information clearly in common terms
• Able to communicate effectively across the team and organization.
• Able to work under pressure. Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive, and detail-minded
• Excellent written and spoken English; local language fluency is a plus
