The Position

As Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for providing the team with a clear road map & process towards the concept, design & development of new store concepts as well as the further development of existing concepts.

You are the team’s main point person towards internal and external stakeholders regarding concept roll out planning and strategy, identifying targets, key milestones and deliverables.

You are responsible for project strategy, planning, budgeting, tendering.

You enable the team to test, deliver and roll out new store concepts cost- effectively, in a timely manner and successfully.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall project program & tracking

  • Progress reporting

  • Defining deliverables with your Director, assigning & tracking progress within the different pillars in the

team

  • Collating, structuring and archiving all commercial and regional functional requests & inputs, so

that all concept design choices can be justified by quantifiable facts & data

  • Collaborating with Finance Ops to provide all financial input and breakdowns in view of project

specific budget planning & tracking

  • Scheduling all relevant project meetings, providing minutes & follow-up action plans

  • Aligning with all internal stakeholders on the standards & requirements of the project deliverables,

helping the team provide in an organised and thorough manner

  • Partnering with Store development, both re the delivery of test locations but also to ensure a successful roll

out procedure & process

  • Communicating with all relevant vendors ensuing the program is abided by & targets are met

  • Collating commercial and functional data, creating overviews for key business leads

Note: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those listed above. The role may require additional tasks and duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and organization.

Measures of Success

  • Metric 1: New concept developments, including SPW25 and TJ 25. Target: Clear program and processes enabling timely opening of test locations and subsequent roll out

  • Metric 2:  Mock & test store/ pilot locations: enable timely & on budget delivery, establish a review process, process feedback & incorporate learnings in concept design revisions & processes, enable the creation of concept guidelines to enable global roll outs . Target: Successful, timely and in-budget execution & reviews

  • Metric 3: Managing internal & external stakeholders. Target: Structured, efficient, transparent new concept processes and delivery

  • Metric 4: Global concept library. Target: Engage all responsible parties ensuring timely updates and releases

Requirements

  • Software skills to include MS office (in particular Excel, PowerPoint, one-note, Asana) as well as In-design and photoshop

  • Solid experience working on complex (retail design) concept projects, with a track record of successful strategic project delivery

  • Excellent communications skills, fluent English a must; awareness of cultural differences a +

  • Structured, organized, highly collaborative and team spirited

  • Passionate about working in a creative environment

  • Pro-active and resilient, very strong at time and project management

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills

  • Relevant business dvpt/ business strategy degree (or equivalent) with 5-8 years of relevant experience, ideally within a design/ architectural agency or an international retail corporate environment
