The Team

The Global Consumer Brand Experience team is responsible for crafting immersive, multi-sensory environments that captivate consumers and drive brand loyalty. Through Retail Concept Design, Visual Merchandising, Windows & Showrooms and Store Experience, we elevate engagement across all channels and markets with a 360° approach.

Balancing creativity with commercial strategy, we ensure global consistency with local adaptability, shaping the physical identity and consumer experience across retail, wholesale, and pop-up environments. Together, we create compelling spaces that inspire consumers and reinforce Tommy Hilfiger as a leading lifestyle destination.


The Position

The Senior Specialist, Global Showroom Design, plays a pivotal role in the development, planning, and execution of immersive showroom experiences worldwide. This role leverages in-depth knowledge and experience in spatial design, visual storytelling, and retail concept development to enhance showroom environments in alignment with brand guidelines, merchandising strategies, and business goals.

The Senior Specialist acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience, solves complex problems using existing solutions, and works with minimal guidance to ensure seamless execution of showroom activations.


Key Responsibilities

Showroom Concept Development & Execution

  • Assist in the design, development, and execution of seasonal showroom concepts, ensuring alignment with brand storytelling and product priorities.
  • Support the creation of showroom layouts, product displays, and visual storytelling elements, ensuring engaging, high-impact presentations.
  • Ensure showroom environments maintain brand identity, commercial effectiveness, and seamless execution across global markets.
  • Partner with Merchandising and Visual Merchandising teams, ensuring strong product presentation that supports wholesale sales.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Store Design teams, integrating showroom activations into broader brand strategies.
  • Support regional showroom teams in adapting global showroom concepts, ensuring local relevance while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with the Production and Planning teams, ensuring efficient showroom installations and seamless execution.


Project Management & Execution

  • Assist in showroom planning, including design approvals and production timelines, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
  • Oversee vendor coordination for furniture, displays, and visual merchandising elements, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Ensure showroom materials align with brand sustainability and budget guidelines, optimizing resources for efficiency.


Innovation & Sustainability

  • Research and implement new materials, layouts, and experiential elements, enhancing showroom engagement and interactivity.
  • Ensure showroom designs incorporate sustainable practices, supporting brand-wide eco-conscious initiatives.


Measures of Success

  • High-quality, consistent showroom designs that align with brand identity.
  • Successful execution of seasonal showroom activations, ensuring strong storytelling and commercial impact.
  • On-time delivery of showroom toolkits, layouts, and production elements, ensuring seamless execution across markets.
  • Positive feedback from internal teams, buyers, and sales teams, ensuring effective showroom functionality.
  • Optimization of showroom production and materials, ensuring efficiency and sustainability goals are met.


The Ideal Candidate

  • 4+ years of experience in showroom design, retail concept development, or visual merchandising, with a strong understanding of spatial design.
  • Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
  • Experience working with global teams, ensuring seamless showroom execution across multiple markets.
  • Strong project management skills, including timeline management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Passion for innovation and sustainability, ensuring future-forward showroom execution.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
