Role
The Specialist Retail Implementation, Retail Projects is a key member of the EMEA Retail Operations team and more precisely, the EMEA Retail Implementation team. Our team is responsible for strategic technology and process initiatives in retail stores across Europe.

This role leads key retail projects (e.g. Consumer Insights programs) and provides support on our POS operations to ensure stable systems, efficient processes, and an elevated in-store experience. It drives alignment across central functions, markets, and stakeholders to deliver solutions that enhance efficiency and elevate the customer experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead retail projects, overseeing all phases from initiation to successful multi-market implementation ensuring operational readiness, market alignment, and long-term adoption

  • Assess the current state of e.g. Consumer Insights programs, POS systems and related in-store processes, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for POS related processes, holding and sharing deep knowledge and best practices to help resolving operational or system issues in collaboration with relevant teams.

  • Prioritise market needs, evaluating feasibility, cost/benefit ratios, and profitability drivers

  • Collaborate with Product, IT, and other functional teams to define project scope, resource plans, and budgets

  • Coordinate market rollouts, ensuring compliance with local regulations, operational standards, and cultural requirements

  • Lead change management activities and trainings to embed new ways of working and maximise adoption

  • Establish and track KPIs in partnership with markets, measuring performance against objectives

  • Drive hypercare by partnering with relevant stakeholders to resolve hardware, connectivity, and system issues impacting the rollout

 

Requirements

Education:

  • University degree in business or related fields; or comparable education with a retail background

Experience:

  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant work experience

  • Strong background in full cycle project management from scoping and stakeholder alignment to execution, training and rollout

  • Knowledge of store operations, systems and retail technologies

  • Preferably experience working with POS systems

  • Experience working with diverse markets, understanding laws & local regulations, cultural nuances, and operational needs

Skills:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally

  • Organised and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable working with tools such as Microsoft Office, Asana, and Jira.

  • Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
