The Sr. ABAP Developer is responsible for delivering and supporting PVH’s SAP technical development capabilities across global ERP and integrated systems, with a primary focus on SAP S/4HANA and related technologies.
This role owns the design, development, and lifecycle management of ABAP-based solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements across Finance, Supply Chain, and Retail domains. It acts as a key technical partner to functional teams and IT delivery teams, bridging business requirements with scalable, high-quality technical solutions.
The role focuses on development excellence, system integration, governance, and continuous improvement, ensuring SAP solutions enable PVH’s global business processes across brands, channels, and regions.
Own ABAP development across SAP landscapes (production and non-production environments).
Design, develop, and maintain RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflow).
Ensure solutions are scalable, reusable, and aligned with PVH architecture and development standards.
Support end-to-end development lifecycle including design, build, test, deploy, and support.
• Build modern ABAP applications using:
ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) for developing cloud ready services and apps.
Core Data Services (CDS) including:
CDS Views
Analytical CDS
CDS Metadata Extensions
CDS Annotations for UI, OData, and analytics
AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) for high performance HANA native logic.
ABAP for Cloud and Steampunk (Embedded/Side by Side BTP ABAP).
Leverage OData V2/V4 services for Fiori/UI5 applications and cross system integrations.
Apply Clean ABAP principles, ATC checks, SCI/SLIN standards, and performance tuning (SQL Monitor, Runtime Analysis).
Develop solutions across SAP platforms including SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and Fiori.
Build and support integrations using IDocs, APIs, Web Services, and middleware tools.
Work with integration frameworks and tools such as AIF and BRF+.
Ensure seamless data flow across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Partner with functional teams across:
Finance (FI/CO)
Supply Chain (MM, SD)
Data & Analytics (BW, MDM, CAR)
Translate business requirements into clear technical designs and scalable solutions.
Act as a technical advisor to ensure feasibility and alignment with SAP best practices.
Develop and review technical specifications and design documents.
Perform code reviews and enforce ABAP development standards.
Conduct unit testing and support SIT/UAT cycles.
Troubleshoot defects and implement fixes in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with development, documentation, and transport management standards.
Participate in release management and deployment activities.
Identify opportunities for performance optimization and process improvements.
Contribute to continuous improvement of SAP development practices.
Provide ongoing support for SAP applications, including incident resolution and enhancements.
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure minimal business disruption.
Collaborate with global teams and system integrators for support and delivery.
8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA ABAP development.
Proven experience developing RICEFW objects across multiple SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, etc.).
Experience with SAP technologies including:
SAP Fiori
Interfaces (IDocs, APIs, Web Services)
Solid understanding of SAP architecture and system landscapes.
Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional and global teams.
