As Senior Manager of Architecture, you will lead the concept development and design for both new and existing store formats. You are responsible for all architectural aspects, including features, finishes, and layouts for the following channels:

  • Global Full Price Stores (Pinnacle, Elevated, Core), Sportswear (including Kids), and Tommy Jeans

  • Global Full Price SIS (Elevated, Core), Sportswear (including Kids), and Tommy Jeans

  • Global Outlets (all product categories)

  • Digital Wholesale Environments (including digital showrooms)

A key component of your success in this role will be creating clear, consistent, and comprehensive global architectural design guidelines to ensure regional Store Development teams are aligned and able to execute with precision.

You will manage a team of three direct reports: the Manager of Architecture, Senior Specialist of Retail Architecture, and Specialist Store Planner for SIS/Wholesale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architectural design for all retail and wholesale environments (including digital showrooms).

  • Oversee sourcing and tendering for specific designs and finishes, including lighting and digital elements.

  • Guide the architectural design for all Pinnacle locations, collaborating with regional architectural development partners.

  • Create, communicate, and train global teams on ultra-clear architectural guidelines for regional execution.

  • Manage and maintain the Global Architectural Guideline Library to ensure consistency and accessibility.

Note: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those listed above. The role may require additional tasks and duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and organization.

Measures of Success

  • Metric 1: New concept developments, incl SPW25 and TJ 25. Target: Clear global guidelines enabling roll out

  • Metric 2: Architectural design of test store/ pilot locations aligned with the new concepts’ vision. Target: Succesful, timely and in-budget execution

  • Metric 3: Lead the regions w local project executions & requirements. Target: Structured and efficient global design review process & follow up

  • Metric 4: Global concept library. Target: upload & keep up to date all architectural guidelines

Requirements:

  • Experience working with AutoCAD Pro, Sketchup, V-Ray & Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Extensive experience of detailing, value engineering and knowledge in use of materials for interior/ exterior architecture

  • Extensive knowledge & experience of Retail concept architecture & design, leading & streamlining processes

  • Pro-active and resilient, strong at time and project management

  • Solid & empathic people manager

  • Architecture degree, with a minimum of 8 year’s experience as a project architect
