The Position
The Senior Art Director is responsible for upholding and adapting the core Tommy Hilfiger aesthetic and visual language to everything the brand communicates, both internally and externally, as defined by the Senior Creative and Brand Directors. The Senior Art Director works in close collaboration with other relevant departments and key stakeholders across the business to concept and create engaging content, and to oversee the integration of creative materials across all touchpoints for local, regional and global initiatives. As a creative guardian, the Senior Art Director manages a team of Art Directors, and reviews, feeds back and course corrects their work to uphold the brand direction.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership: Develop and implement the visual strategy for the brand across various media, including print, digital, and social platforms. Lead brainstorming sessions and creative meetings to generate innovative ideas and concepts.
Campaign Development: Oversee the planning and execution of seasonal campaigns, lookbooks, and editorials.
Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Design, and Product teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and brand consistency.
Photo Shoot Direction: Conceptualize and direct photo shoots, including selecting locations, models, photographers, and stylists. Ensure high-quality output and adherence to the brand’s visual standards.
Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of creative Art Directors. Provide clear direction, feedback, and support to ensure the team’s growth and development.
Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to keep the brand’s visuals fresh and relevant. Integrate new trends and technologies into creative processes.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments, including Marketing, Sales, and Production, to align creative efforts with overall business objectives. Present creative concepts and strategies to senior management and stakeholders.
Budget Management: Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Preferred Skills
Strong visual and conceptual skills with an impeccable eye for detail.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Deep understanding of fashion trends, brand development, and consumer behavior.

Strong network within the fashion industry.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing market conditions and project requirements.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in fashion art direction, with at least 3-5 years in a senior role.
