About the role:
 

As a Finance Capabilities & Systems Director, you will lead the evolution of our finance function by developing best-in-class capabilities and modern systems. This role is a key enabler in our finance transformation journey, with a strong focus on process optimization, technology integration, and capability building across the EMEA finance team. 

You are a technically biased, hands-on leader who works closely with all Finance verticals, IT, and business stakeholders to define and implement scalable solutions, drive the adoption of digital tools, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the EMEA finance organization.

What you'll do: 

  • Finance Tech Transformation: 
    Work closely with the global Corporate Finance Process Transformation (CFPT) to develop and drive the EMEA roadmap for technical capabilities and systems transformation, aligned with enterprise strategy and future operating models. 

  • Systems Ownership & Integration: 
    Support the design, implementation, and optimization of key finance systems (e.g., SAP, SAC, HANA, Blackline, etc.) Act as business owner for system upgrades, new tools, and data architecture. 

  • Capability Development: 
    Identify technical skill gaps and lead programs to upskill the finance team in areas like data analytics, automation, process excellence, and digital finance tooling. 

  • Process Improvement: 
    Support the broader transformation team in both standardizing and streamlining key finance processes (e.g., P2P, O2C, R2R) to drive efficiencies, accuracy, and scalability. Champion automation and lean finance practices across EHQ, hubs, and SSC. 

  • Governance & Change Management: 
    Establish strong governance structures for finance systems and data integrity. Lead change management efforts to ensure adoption and sustainable improvements. 

  • Innovation & Insights: 
    Stay ahead of technology trends in finance (AI, RPA, predictive analytics, etc.) and assess their applicability and feasibility to the business. 
     

What you'll bring:

  • Proven success in leading multi-year transformation programs, driving change in matrix organizations, and enabling global process standardization and best practice sharing. 

  • Progressive experience in portfolio and/or technical program management within financial or complex organizational settings

  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional and global teams toward shared goals and integrated solutions

  • Strong financial and business insight to help guide the prioritization of strategic initiatives

  • Demonstrated capability in turning strategy into execution, communicating the case for change, and recognizing emerging opportunities

  • Well-developed analytical and critical thinking skills, with a structured and practical approach to solving challenges

  • Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a consistent ability to build alignment and influence outcomes across stakeholders

  • Detail-oriented and pragmatic, comfortable working within broad strategic guidelines while constructively questioning the status quo
