Position Title:  Associate, Packaging and Trim

Business/Organization: Calvin Klein Global Supply Chain

Function/Division: Raw Materials

Position Reports to: Manager, Packaging and Trim

Location: W 39 St. New York, NY                            

Position Summary:

The Associate for Packaging & Trim is responsible for developing and researching packaging/trim for all brands under CTB (CLOSE TO BODY). They will be responsible for developing boxes, hangtag, insert cards, jokers, labels, bags and bellybands that fall within PVH cost optimization, lead-time, quality and sustainability goals.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the Job:

  • Co-manage multiple Brands under CTB

  • Be responsible for the end-to-end development of packaging materials and components—including boxes, hangtags, insert cards, labels, bags, and belly bands—from concept through bulk approval and final production.

  • Advise and guide global teams on packaging and trim selection to maintain consistency and quality across all current brands.

  • Serve as the technical lead on packaging substrates, focusing on balancing quality, lead times, cost efficiency, and visual appeal.

  • Drive sustainability by developing packaging and trim aligned with PVH’s sustainable strategies and cost optimization goals.

  • Build and manage seasonal development and tracking charts to meet project timelines and maintain an efficient workflow.

  • Manage and ensure 100% on-time seasonal approvals for all packaging and trim elements.

  • Maintain and update libraries for material references, ensuring accessibility and up-to-date options for current and future projects.

  • Act as a key point of contact with mills and overseas offices, managing packaging material requests, sourcing, and development details to support project timelines.

  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings, delivering detailed updates on packaging materials to keep all teams informed and aligned.

  • Lead packaging material discussions in cross functional meetings by communicating all packaging material details, updates etc. to all departments (sourcing, merchandising, design and overseas agents/mill).

Qualifications & Experience

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years in packaging and trim material sourcing, development, and/or production within the fashion, cosmetics, or apparel industry.

  • Proven experience in developing and sourcing packaging materials.

  • Ability to manage packaging development projects throughout the product Life Cycle within fast-paced environments.

  • Knowledge and experience in paper and plastic substrate materials and packaging techniques, with strong familiarity with sustainability practices.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in packaging, fashion, product development, and/or supply chain.

Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.

  • Technical understanding of packaging materials, including paper and plastic substrates.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a detail-oriented and creative mindset.

  • Deadline-driven with a strong sense of urgency and accuracy.

This position is a hybrid position working 4 days/ week in office with flexibility required to work up to 5 days in office when needed.

Pay Range:$75,000 - $85,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
