The Role
The Studio Colour and Concept Designer plays a key supportive role within the Menswear Design Division, helping to bring to life the creative vision of the VP Creative Director of Design and the wider Design Leadership team. Reporting into the Design Studio Director, you will contribute to the development and execution of seasonal colour palettes and concept narratives, translating high-level creative direction into inspiring and actionable tools for the design teams. You’ll support the ongoing curation of both the physical and digital concept environments, ensuring they reflect and reinforce the seasonal storytelling and creative vision across all menswear categories.
This role is ideal for a creative collaborator with a strong eye for colour, a passion for narrative-driven design, and a deep understanding of cultural and visual trends.
Key Responsibilities
Seasonal Colour & Concept Development
Assist in translating the VP Creative Director of Design’s seasonal vision into cohesive colour palettes and inspirational concept directions.
Support the creation of moodboards, colour cards, trend narratives, and seasonal storytelling tools that inspire the wider menswear design teams.
Gather and filter cultural, artistic, and market research into visual assets that align with brand DNA and inform design direction.
Collaborate with the Colour & Material team to align on palettes and seasonal material innovation.
Studio Curation & Environment
Help maintain and evolve the physical Studio space as a hub of seasonal inspiration through concept installations, mood walls, and curated touchpoints.
Support the upkeep and content development for the digital concept library, ensuring consistent access to the latest creative inputs for internal teams.
Assist with planning and delivering internal walkthroughs, concept presentations, and team immersions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Design Studio, Category Design, and Colour & Material teams to ensure alignment across all seasonal creative touchpoints.
Support the integration of seasonal concept into special projects, capsule collections, and brand storytelling moments.
The Ideal Candidate
Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Visual Communication, or a related creative discipline.
3–5 years of experience in colour and concept design, trend forecasting, or visual storytelling within a fashion or lifestyle brand.
A strong visual aesthetic and understanding of colour theory, menswear trends, and cultural movements.
Ability to visually communicate complex creative directions in a clear and inspiring way.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and digital layout tools; confident in building impactful visual decks and presentations.
Highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong organizational skills.
A deep appreciation for the Tommy Hilfiger brand and a passion for contributing to a global design vision.
