Senior Specialist, Analytics

The Team
Within the eCommerce team, our mission is to build a commercially driven team with a strong focus on product, trading and business growth in order to elevate online performance. The position's team serves as the backbone of eCommerce, driving product focus, site merchandising, content and product launch to increase sales and conversion. The team collaborates closely with the wider CK teams to drive strategic alignment and commercial performance. With an integral position in the team, the role contributes significantly to the department’s overall success and strategic growth.

The Position
As Senior Specialist, Analytics, you will be responsible for analyzing business performance, identifying commercial opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making across the eCommerce business. Your focus will be on interpreting traffic, trading, customer behavior, and promotional data to inform category strategies, forecast sales, and monitor the impact of initiatives. You will work closely with the Commercial Director, acting as the analytical engine of the team and ensuring data-driven decisions across trading activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Business Performance Analysis: Monitor and interpret key metrics (traffic, CVR, AOV, RNS, return rate, markdowns) across categories and campaigns. Deliver insights and visualizations to drive decision-making.
  • Funnel Analysis: Track and analyze the eCommerce funnel to detect traffic and conversion drop-off points; work with stakeholders to take corrective actions.
  • Sales Forecasting: Support in building rolling forecasts at category level in partnership with Planning and Commercial leads.
  • Promotions & Campaign Reporting: Evaluate impact of marketing campaigns, price changes, and promotions, providing recommendations to improve ROI and customer engagement.
  • Category Deep Dives: Build regular dashboards and insights around product group performance, pricing dynamics, and product lifecycle analytics.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a strategic partner to Site Merchandising, Operations, and Media teams to enhance trading actions through data insights.
  • Tool Management & Reporting Optimization: Own and maintain reporting templates (Tableau/Power BI/Excel), and work with internal teams to automate manual reports where possible.
  • Competitor Benchmarking: Support Commercial Director with periodic market and competitor pricing analysis to inform assortment and pricing decisions.


Note: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those listed above. The role may require additional tasks and duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and organization.

  • Business impact: Accuracy and relevance of insights driving improved trading decisions and topline performance
  • Analytical efficiency: Timeliness and automation of reporting deliverables
  • Cross-functional influence: Uptake and application of insights across commercial and merchandising teams
  • Forecast accuracy: Accuracy of trading forecasts vs actuals
  • Funnel optimization: Reduction in traffic drop-off and improved product conversion


Ideal candidate

  • 4–6 years of experience in eCommerce or retail analytics, ideally in a trading or digital environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with a passion for connecting data to strategy and execution
  • Proficient in Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI preferred)
  • Comfortable working with high SKU volumes, large datasets, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar web performance tools
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
