Position Summary
We are seeking a Vice President, IT Americas, who will take charge of the business relationship management and technology ownership for the Americas (US, Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam and Brazil) business functions. As a key member of the PVH I.T. senior leadership team, you will have a vital role in revolutionizing our I.T. department to unlock the potential of our people and technology and create highly desirable lifestyle brands for our consumers.
Your primary focus will be on implementing a business-centric I.T. strategy, with an emphasis on capabilities, operating model & skills, delivery excellence, and cost management in the region. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all regional IT activities. This position is based in NYC, with regular in-person meetings in Bridgewater, NJ.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities of The Job
Own the business relationship management with key members of the Executive Leadership Team and their direct reports, along with regional I.T. strategies and roadmaps.
Lead the development and execution of consolidated Americas strategic plans in conjunction with your peers, the representative business partners, and the CIO.
Manage the development of IT strategies for the Americas region, aligning corporate and local objectives. Work closely with portfolio owners, business partners, and other stakeholders to create budgets and financial documents. Drive the successful execution of new projects, prioritizing optimal returns on investment.
Be responsible for meeting all I.T.-related needs of the Americas organization. This ranges from monitoring day-to-day operations to designing and engineering new local systems, as well as in-country/region coordination for corporate initiatives.
Promote, support, implement, and educate North America and Brazil offices on the global/corporate systems solutions.
Foster and maintain ongoing communication throughout the organization, both within and between departments, to effectively coordinate and fulfill job responsibilities.
Sell new projects by supporting corporate business development efforts. Your business development support includes attending/facilitating client meetings, providing input for technical reviews, and participating in the capture/proposal process.
Monitor financial resources, project progress, and support needs to ensure projects are completed on time and produce high-quality outcomes within budget. Collaborate with Senior Management to create business strategies that align with organizational guidelines, fostering a consistent and sustainable revenue and profit stream.
Supervise, lead, and mentor the Americas’ Team in the development and delivery of innovative, high-quality services to our customers. You will be directly responsible for employee performance evaluations of supervised employees, stimulating professional and managerial growth in the process.
Hold full accountability for technology service delivery and reliability in retail stores and warehouses, including preparation and support during critical peak periods of the retail holiday calendar.
Develop regional I.T. leadership/talent so they can create the strategy for each of their respective disciplines and align with other areas.
Requires travel 10% internationally.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience:
10 to 15 years of information technology experience in apparel applications development.
5 to 10 years of experience in Operations/Infrastructure management.
Demonstrated success in developing/managing a global IT support infrastructure that services the business and IT needs in multiple countries.
Successful design and implementation of apparel-related and retail systems to support global operations with a minimum of 10-15 years managing IT systems for a global apparel organization.
Business Process and Project Management experience.
Proven success at developing and implementing strategic plans.
Strong IT background in design, programming, and implementation of systems.
Strong IT background in infrastructure design and management.
Demonstrated experience in building strong relationships with the business.
Experience in the international and highly matrix environment.
Education
College Degree in computer science, engineering, or business field is required.
Equivalent experience in Business is acceptable, with a preference for a Graduate Degree (MBA).
Skills
Must be a strong planner, manager, and have demonstrated skills in human relations dealing with a highly diverse workforce, domestically and internationally.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
Experience working in a dynamic, multiple-brands environment.
