About the Role:

The Store Planning Project Manager is responsible for planning and management of projects while achieving budget and schedule while delivering the highest quality standards. Ensuring divisions strategic vision and design standards are met through partnership with both internal and external partners.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, develop and maintain project budgets and timelines as required for each project
  • Review requisitions, change orders and other invoices associated with project
  • Level set and qualify construction bids once bids received from procurement
  • Maintain all vital documentation and reports associated with projects
  • Provide overall management of submittal process, including preparation of submittal schedule in conjunction with overall project schedule, identify long lead time items and organize project buyout appropriately.
  • Provide overall management of RFI process, including review for appropriateness, tracking of potential costs, supervising of review time by the design team, and distribution of RFI responses to affected subcontractors.
  • Review and negotiate work letters with LL and conduct initial site reviews
  • Leverage project resources of Architects, Suppliers and GC’s to achieve project schedules
  • Show strength in the use and application of all technology as required for assigned projects.
  • Ensure that all accounts receivables are maintained at a level not to exceed approved budget. Call out and handle budget risk at project achievements, value engineer with Store Design as needed.
  • Handle approved schedules to achieve all critical achievements. Adjust and update as needed during the lifecycle of a project.
  • Support a culture that ensures the highest standard of performance and quality from construction, sourcing, vendors, and peers.
  • Lead PVH partners’ (store design, Procurement, IT, Security, Merchandising, Ops), external consultants (architects, engineers, etc.), and general contractors and suppliers to achieve committed turning points.
  • Coordinate and lead drawing sets and breakthroughs from schematic and design development, and construction documents. Review dwgs. and conduct page turns at achievements.
  • Establish driven bidding, contract administration and project related legal and financial controls. Build proper bid books, cost plans, forecasts, budget history and issue PO’s for a proper project buyout.
  • Lead and report on change orders and overall budget management.
  • Build to high quality and handover store to retail team 100% defect free. Handover of store to be coordinated with all partners for a detailed transition from store planning to Retail
  • Regularly visit completed projects with members of Store Design, Store Planning and Retail to perform post-opening project audits. Identify areas of needed improvement and institute changes to store design, project development & delivery, materials, and suppliers.
  • Support Store Design and Procurement with their on-going research and development programs. Identify and support the prototyping of project components.
  • Identify regional/local resources, materials, suppliers for cost and schedule efficiencies. Work in collaboration with Procurement and Store Design to propose and implement programs to drive efficiencies.

What You'll Bring:     

  • 10+ years in demonstrated ability in store planning/design/construction environment in retail industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Architecture/Engineering or Construction Project Management preferred
  • Ability to prepare and supervise budgets
  • Experience in construction management or real estate preferred
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients
  • Organizational skills with the ability to identify and lead priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very detailed in processes, communications, project punch and follow-up
  • Solid understanding of architectural design, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, general knowledge of construction industry practices and procedures, be able to interpret construction documents, and possess a general understanding of applicable construction codes, accessibility standards and land use ordinances
  • Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently, in addition to multiple types/scales of projects

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project (preferred)
  • Experience efficiently working with multi-functional teams, vendors, and consultants in the North America market
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Project, Adobe, Smartsheet
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, project management and people leadership skills
  • Shown self-starter with ability to organize opposing priorities
  • Maintain excellent relationships with contractors, consultants, designers and internal partners
