Coordinator Merchandising Operations

The Team

Within the Full Price Buying & Merchandising team, our mission is to ensure the Global Full Price product strategy is adapted to meet the specific needs of the region to maximize DTC performance & wholesale growth, and to ensure operational readiness across the Full Price buying teams. This position serves as the backbone of the Full Price team, collaborating closely with Hubs and wider TH teams to drive overall commercial performance. With an integral position in the team, the role contributes significantly to the department’s operational efficiency, strategic growth and overall success.

The Position

As Merchandising Operations Coordinator, you will be crucial to both the Full Price and Outlet Buying & Merchandising teams. You will support the Merchandising Operations team on a day-to-day basis, providing administrative support to the team to ensure that all aspects related to operational readiness for product data, pricing and sales tools are running smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with the wider TH team along with the global team to ensure global and EU systems flow. This role is vital for achieving the Full Price and Outlet Buying & Merchandising objectives and your work will be key to the commercial success of the TH brand.


Key Responsibilities:

  • System Set-Up and Maintenance: Ensure on-time and aligned availability of product data across systems, to ensure they are optimized for Full Price and Outlet collections.
  • Master Data Management: Contribute to master data accuracy, working closely with Global and Regional teams to ensure data completeness, consistency, and correctness across multiple platforms. This is essential for seamless operations across various business units.
  • Selling Tools Set-Up and Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance of effective selling tools that support the teams across Full Price and Outlet channels. Ensure these tools are always up to date and provide the necessary insights to drive sales performance.
  • Pricing Set-Up and Maintenance: Contribute to the on-time and accurate setup of pricing for both Full Price and Outlet collections. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that pricing reflects market requirements, and business objectives.
  • Salesman Sample Tracking, Coordination, and Distribution: Ensure that salesman samples are effectively tracked, coordinated, and distributed to sales teams, ensuring timely availability and accuracy in line with Merchandising and sales objectives.
  • Process and Reporting optimization: Support efforts to improve reporting and process flows by identifying and proposing improvements to senior team members.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proactively collaborate with Global and Regional teams to address data discrepancies, ensure alignment across Merchandising operations, and support the timely execution of Merchandising strategies.

Note: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those listed above. The role may require additional tasks and duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and organization.

Measures of Success

  • Data & pricing readiness: accurate and on-time data and pricing readiness at sell in 
  • Product data accuracy & integrity: high levels of product data accuracy, with low entry error rates and low SKU turnaround time
  • Pricing accuracy & compliance: low pricing error rates and time to update pricing, high pricing compliance

Requirements

  • Ideally 1-2 years of working experience
  • Strong analytical skills.  Proficiency in Excel is a must
  • Highly adaptable and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment
  • Demonstrates initiative and follows through completely on all aspects of a project
  • Positive and can-do attitude; flexible approach to learning and supportive team mentality
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information both written and orally with more senior stakeholders and team members
  • Fluent English both written and verbal 
  • Education: a Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience
