POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Associate Designer is responsible for supporting Women’s team. Work closely with women’s team to help translating seasonal concepts to product lines for Global Outlet, Asia Capsules, Asia Exclusive, etc.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: 

• Support Women’s team to develop collections and products, which includes illustrations, technical drawings, tech pack creation, system work, Miro boards, graphic solutions, etc. for presentation, review and approvals

• Prepare design tech packages and schematics for development, supports loading of sketches and tech packs into the centric

• Participle and partner with sourcing and development counterparts in ensuring product creation meets designs, quality and price expectations

• Attend fit and prototype review sessions, make revisions to artwork and technical call outs on tech packages

• Effective communications with Global and APAC working partners

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:   5+ years design experience

Education:   Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design

Skills:

• Strong fashion aesthetic and creativity

• Knowledge of technical design, fabrics and other materials

• Good interpersonal and communication abilities

• Knowledge of design-related applications and software (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop) a must, plus office software (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel )

• Proficient in English, both spoken and written
