The Team

The Tommy Hilfiger EMEA Demand Planning (NOS) team is based at the Tommy Hilfiger Global HQ in Amsterdam and oversees the EMEA Demand planning processes for the NOS assortment.

The overarching goal is to optimize the demand planning output and process, whilst maintaining commercially relevant assortments and financially responsible stock positions. The team consists of flexible, open-minded problem solvers working in a fast-paced environment supporting a key growth pillar of the business.

The Position

The NOS EMEA demand Planner oversees the demand process consisting of EMEA demand planning, commercial targets, budgeting and assortment planning. The planner connects the European outcome with the Integrated Demand Plan and global demand plan - leading to direction for the EMEA NOS business and global insights on NOS demand.

The role requires nuanced stakeholder management to work on process alignment between the brand-, finance-, channel- and regional planning teams to ensure the best possible balance between demand optimization, assortment stabilization and various other KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee EMEA demand and align with the business.
  • Connect the EMEA demand plan with the Integrated Demand Plan (IDP), as part of the E2E planning process.
  • Optimize reporting on budgets, sales and demand.
  • Provide proposals on process improvements and adjustments.
  • Stakeholder Management across an array of involved teams (European Commercial Hubs, Global Demand, Channel Planning counterparts (Ecom & Retail), NOS Supply Planning, Market-, Product- and General Merchandise, Business control and Finance.)
  • Participate in projects related to NOS and E2E planning (Blue Yonder / Integrated Demand Planning).
  • Support the wider planning group and business by analyzing processes and best practices, pursuing effective structures and ways of working, and drive alignment and efficiencies across lifestyle labels/divisions.
  • Foster a culture of inclusivity and development.

Note: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those listed above. The role may require additional tasks and duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and organization.

Measures of Success

  • Improved demand accuracy. Increasing the percentage by 5 points annually.
  • Improved stock positions, reducing stock outs and excess stock. Meaning 99% availability and average three months of sales covered.

Requirements

  • Educated to bachelor or master’s level; Education background: Commerce/ Business Management, Fashion Merchandise Planning, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or any related quantitative field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Demand Planning, Merchandise Planning, Retail Planning etc.
  • Experience with SAP and other forecasting/ planning systems (e.g. Blue Yonder/ JDA) is a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS office and advanced skills in Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with a commercially driven mindset.
  • Understanding of forecast error metrics.
  • Ability to work with a lot of stakeholders.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Skills in data story telling- gathering, interpreting and visualizing data.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to take ownership of tasks.
