The Team
Within the EMEA Communications department, our mission is to deliver clear, engaging, and aligned communications that connect people to PVH's vision, values, and priorities, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching goals of building Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger into the most desirable lifestyle brands in the world. This team serves as the backbone of our department, collaborating closely with local markets, global communications, HR, and brand teams to drive a cohesive and integrated approach across the region. By eliminating regional silos and aligning local efforts with EMEA and global priorities, we enhance Associate experiences, foster a sense of community, and strengthen the company's internal and external presence. With an integral position in the team, the role contributes significantly to streamlining content creation, event planning, and messaging, ensuring a balance between regionally consistent narratives and locally relevant engagement.
The Position
As Senior Manager, Corporate Communications PVH EMEA, you will provide leadership and direction across regional external and executive communications. You will be responsible for driving corporate messaging strategy, managing crisis communications, and supporting senior leaders with high-impact content and guidance. This role oversees critical reputation management initiatives and ensures alignment with global and EMEA business objectives. As a senior leader, you will develop departmental plans, influence communications at the executive level, and be accountable for the performance and strategic results of your team across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
• Corporate Messaging Strategy: Develop and lead regional corporate communication strategies that enhance external reputation and align with company priorities.
• Executive Communications: Support and guide executive leaders with impactful communications, ensuring tone, timing, and message alignment.
• Crisis & Issues Management: Serve as a key contact and strategic lead during critical communications scenarios; manage planning and response across regions.
• Press & Media Relations: Oversee press release development, media triage, and engagement across markets; build relationships with key external outlets.
• Departmental Planning: Contribute to long-term communications planning, including budgeting, team priorities, and strategic objectives across EMEA.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal functions (Legal, Global Comms, Brand, People Experience) and manage external-facing communications with clarity and consistency.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of communications professionals, ensuring high performance and clear development paths.
• Brand Reputation: Proactively drive initiatives that reinforce brand trust and market positioning through thoughtful content and campaigns.
• Measurement & Insight: Leverage data to evaluate campaign impact, monitor sentiment, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Note: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those listed above. The role may require additional tasks and duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and organization.
Measures of Success
• Engagement & Reach: Monitor and grow engagement levels across external communication channels. Target: Consistently achieve or exceed reach benchmarks for key campaigns and communications.
• Media Impact: Deliver high-quality press coverage and ensure consistency of corporate messaging across all external touchpoints. Target: Secure positive media exposure in line with strategic priorities.
• Crisis Readiness & Response: Respond to sensitive or critical issues with clarity, speed, and strategic alignment. Target: Meet response time standards and maintain message control during crisis scenarios.
• Media Impact: Deliver high-quality press coverage and ensure consistency of corporate messaging across all external touchpoints.
• Campaign Effectiveness: Drive successful execution of external communication campaigns. Target: Meet or exceed KPIs including awareness, engagement, and brand perception improvements.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience: 8–10 years in corporate communications or external affairs; minimum 5 years of leadership or managerial experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, or related field required.
Native-level proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage professionals and/or managers, develop departmental plans, and drive team success across international markets.
Communication Skills: Expert in written and verbal communication; able to represent the company with media, partners, and senior stakeholders.
Strategic Thinking: Strong judgment and experience in high-pressure or complex communications environments.
Decision-Making: Experience guiding decisions through regional and department objectives; comfortable working on issues that require deep company knowledge.
Influence: Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executives and key external partners.
Global Mindset: Experience managing or supporting communications in an international and cross-functional context.
